Boutique hotel in a great location. Quiet comfy room.

Room a little small but expected that. A tall narrow Amsterdam converted house.

Boutique beauty in the heart of Amsterdam

Absolutely stunning 400 year old home renovated into a boutique hotel. Wolfe was exceptional on arrival and the rooms are large, beautifully furnished and the marble bathroom are bliss. All this and you are centrally based to walk or tram to everything.

Its a fabulous hotel !

Room excellent. Staff go above & beyond. Special thanks to Camilla and Victor who were superb !Food outstanding.

Quite a few issues with the booking. Regardless of messaging the hotel before booking to ask for a suitable room for myself and my adult son we were messaged by them 3 days before our departure to say the room we had booked ( which had been recommended by them ) did not suit twin beds., and that we would need to upgrade to a room 140 per night extra. We refused. We were declined a free cancellation so had to book another room with an extra charge( this was later given for free) but nevertheless very stressful. The hotel then rang me while I was sat on the plane out to Amsterdam to ask if we still required our room because they didnt have our email so couldnt message us . We had been messaging for several days . When we reached the hotel we were upgraded a third time to a fabulous room but still not really a twin it was a family room with a bunk bed style unit set within the wall. We did accept this room which was more like a suite and we did love our stay, I would highly recommend this hotel as it was fantastic however not if you require a twin.

A little gem

The property is perfect location. Everything is within about a 15 minute walk left or right which makes it really easy to get around on foot. The staff are absolutely some of the best we have experienced (and we have been to a lot of hotels!) every member of the team fully deserves a 10/10. We had a minor issue with our room and the manager helped us which was no trouble. We had breakfast on day or departure, which really was something special and could tell the chef had put real love into the food. Beautiful courtyard, beautiful garden, and The merchant room (25) was so lovely, many little gadgets and a beautiful bathroom. Honestly, I would return!

Minor issue with noise however this was rectified. Handheld shower attachment had temperature issue (rm 25) although this is so minor it didnt affect us during our stay.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel on a Canal

Beautiful boutique hotel located in a historic building. Each room is very unique. We greatly appreciated the staff's flexibility as the room we originally booked had a very low ceiling which wouldn't accommodate my very tall husband. They cheerfully moved us to a bigger room with a high ceiling overlooking the canal. The room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. The staff were exceptional.

It was difficult to get Ubers and taxis as it was a one-way street. Of course this isn't the hotel's fault, just noting it as you should allow extra time for transportation. The hotel was very helpful and pointed us to the public tram system as an alternative, which was a block away.
