Very good

Great location, amazing breakfast, modern facilities and helpful staff.

Hotel is located in the city centre, and within walking distance to the Christmas market, numerous museums/attractions, amenities and Bryggen. Near to transport options and the central train station. We arrived via ferry and were able to make our way to the Hotel on foot. Breakfast spread was huge, and quality was top-notch with a focus on Scandinavian cuisine. Our initial room's ventilation system wasn't working well and the front desk staff immediately facilitated a room change while maintenance was activated. Check-in and out was seamless as well.

We stayed in the balcony room, which had a nice view however the room could be larger as the bed and furniture took up almost 90% of the available space.

Amazing stay in the central of Bergen

One of the best hotel breakfast Ive had with so much options. All staff very super friendly and helpful. The location is great with the hotel positioned in the middle of Bergen central, with walking distance to most of what Bergen has to offer. Would definitely book again if visiting Bergen.

Modern, clean. Amazing breakfast, such a variety!

It wasnt clear to us that the swimming pool was only accessible to our children from 7-10 am. Rest of the day, no kids allowed. Kids can swim for free but adults pay around 20 euro each. We picked this hotel especially because of the swimming pool, if wed have known we would not have dished out this amount of money for a one night stay.

Smaller than pictures advertise; do not come here as a solo traveler.

1. Good breakfast food, and Cafe Norge also had good food. 2. Sauna, steam room, and bath were comfortable. 3. Received good service. 4. Rooms are kept very warm (a negative for me, because I was way too hot, but I am an exception to this rule, I prefer cold rooms (10 degrees C or lower). 5. Good view of Festplassen.

1. Solo traveler discrimination. Do not come here as a solo traveler. I am confident this hotel has "solo traveler discrimination" - even when you reserve a larger room, they will give you a smaller room with the same title, e.g. the smaller version of a "superior double room". 2. The room I was received was very different from what was advertised (smaller, even with the upgrade), and it didn't have what was in the pictures that they claimed. 3. Difficult to sleep because the room was far too warm. 4. Chrome cast never worked. 5. Room felt very small and cramped, was not comfortable. 6. Did not feel rested after staying, just frustrated because of all the disappointments. 7. You need to be very specific about what you want from your room because lots of rooms have the same title but very different facilities.

Nice, but not my style

Huge room. No carpet on floors which I love. Excellent view. Amazing breakfast buffet. Very comfortable bed. It was modern.

Firstly, this is just my personal opinion... others might enjoy the decor but it's just not for me! Dark, moody decor - no light left on in dark entryway of room so a struggle to find light switches! Long dark corridors. Hard to find reception on a busy Saturday afternoon as the entrance is through a restaurant/bar and then upstairs. Struggled with suitcases through a line of people waiting to be seated at restaurant. Very slow lifts and not enough for the size hotel. Too busy for my taste. Arriving tired after a coastal voyage (and someone taking my suitcase in error) it was stressful to arrive to such a busy place and have to push past people all dressed up for the restaurant/bar to try and find reception. It made coming and going (to the Christmas market across the road) unpleasant. Not relaxing at all.

one of the best hotels i stayed at. Superbe service, insane breakfast and fantastic Team from Concerige Andy to the whole staff. The rooms are fantastic as the location. A reason to go back to Bergen. Never an other hotel again.

They have no Bloody Mary's at the bar.

Superb

Definitely will stay here again when we visit Bergen

Staffs were very helpful especially Marcus Jonsson. He helped to arrange for our luggage situation and most importantly sorted out when we had to check out bit later to attend business meeting. Thats a unique situation for us. Other than that, the breakfast was delicious and the location is strategic to where we wanted to go. I appreciate the standing shower rather than climbing over bathtub.

Room is on smaller size, noticeable dust at coffee/tea table and no view. But tolerable since were out most of the time.
