Exceptional

The staff were really friendly and the pool was delightful. A real homely feel with touch of luxury. A easy walk into San Gimignano and bus stop right outside to access close by train stations. Breakfast was great, fabulous selection to get the morning started. The onsite restaurant is fantastic as well, very authentic and the best pasta ragu ever. Loved my time there and will be back!

Definitely stay there again!

Great pool, room was a good size, staff very helpful. Nice walk into town behind the hotel. Free parkin!

Drinking water would be nice or even tea and coffee making, but water would be super helpful!

Lovely rustic motel with swimming pool in ideallic location. In need of some maintenance but overall a good stay.

Great location - super close to San Gimignano old town, nice little dining area and bar, casual relaxed pool area, not overly fancy so could unwind without feeling pressured to dress up all the time.

Air conditioning in both rooms (208 & 210) did not work at all. Problem communicated to staff who advised that we were using it incorrectly and said theyd fix it. We stayed for 3 nights in 40 degree weather and the aircon didnt work any of the nights (it was 36 degrees in the room). Staff kept saying it was working fine and dismissed our enquiries to fix it. If we had been told it was broken or that Tuscany didnt have good air conditioning we could have adjusted our expectations but rather the blame was put on us for being too stupid to use it properly.

Beautiful location, close to the town, excellent breakfast, staff were really friendly, big rooms, powerful air con and swimming pool.

Hotel close to the road but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Very good

The receptionist also spoke German! The room was comfortable with a small terrace. It had AC and a small fridge. The hotel had a swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool water didn't smell like chlorine that much which is good. The breakfast is very sweet, that is apparently custom here but if you don't like that you will not enjoy it that much. There was enough parking space at the hotel and across the street. You have a great view of the hills of Tuscany!

It's right next to the street and the cars go very fast. You can not walk anywhere from there since there are no sidewalks. This is not the hotels fault and not a big deal, just wanted to mention it so others know what to expect. This seems to be custom here in Tuscany.
