Wonderful stay, friendly staff, beautiful hotel, quiet location - would 100% stay there again

We had a room on the 14th floor, great size for New York, bed was made and fresh towels and water everyday, quiet stay (facing inward, off of the road) - the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the lobby was very nice and the roof top bar was lovely too - the location is tucked away from busy roads, nice and quiet - only a 20 minute walk to the meatpacking district and felt safe at night

when we first got into the room there was some hairs on the bathroom door which had been missed when cleaning and a sock left in the bedside drawer, rest of the room was clean. I think the main let down was the pillows - they were very lumpy and not comfortable at all

Staff charged 3x the security deposit in 3 different cards. The first one they said it was not approved, even though we confirmed with the credit cart it went through, the second was in a debit card and consumed my sister-in-law money she had for the trip (she's not from the USA). It's been 5 business days and she still haven't collected the money back. The staff attendant did not mention it would get out of the card. Last one was on my credit card, which is American. We went back and forth with the debit card and they asked for an e-mail from the hotel manager. He said he would send it, but never did. Also, they charged a facility fee, which per Booking.com, was already included in the total price paid upfront, they said Booking doesn't have the right info. Definitely not coming back..

Small rooms not much space for a family of 4. A bit dated. The lobby was very small.

Nice boutique hotel, met my expectations

Room was comfortable, older building but modernized in parts. Staff was friendly. Liked the umbrellas in closet and toiletries.

Food was expensive at restaurant. Decaf coffee and cups not replenished in one of our rooms. When reported it was corrected. I left a Friends puzzle in a fake Central Perk cup and after returning the room was cleaned and the puzzle was gone. Assumed the cleaners thought it was an old coffee cup. It was a prize for our scavenger hunt.

The real Manhattan

Beautiful boutique hotel with quality finishes. Super comfy beds. Big rooms. Fantastic having the cafe and roof top bar. Staff were so lovely and helpful. The area was quiet and away from the madness of the tourist areas but still easy to get around town. Highly recommend

It was impossible to have a shower without getting your hair wet but this honestly didnt bother me and my daughters wore shower caps

Superb

Nice spot near West Village

Nice quiet neighborhood-close to village and West Side Highway. Although we didn't have breakfast there, the breakfast menu looked very good and prices were reasonable for NYC. Spring St. is probably closest Subway Stop and only 1/2 mile away.

Immediate area lacked restaurants and other services
