Great hotel at a great location with perfect service

The location of the hotel is excellent. Just a few minutes walk from the Hahnenkamm gondola and the train station. Kitzbuhel centre is only a short walk further. Breakfast was super and well organized. Overall the hospitality of the hosts is amazing.

The shower in our room could was quite low and as we are tall people we did not fit under. It was not a big problem as we could detach the shower and manually lift it higher.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kitzbhl

This hotel was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. The breakfast, the location, and the staff were all top notch and we will definitely be recommending to all our friends/family. The staff is so friendly and they genuinely care about making your stay special. The location is great, its close to town and the main lift. Cant wait to visit again.

An alpine gem

Friendliest inn owners who made us feel so welcome!! Lovely property!! Great location- walking distance to town and lift. Visited in summer but see why it is a popular and perfect spot for winter.

Breakfast was ok. Garden pleasant.

Hotel staff were appalling, worst in my experience of any hotel anywhere. A blonde staff member we asked to help call a taxi to come to the hotel, refused, giving an excuse that taxis could not come up to the hotel. I could not believe it, she had lied, due to being vindictive and vengeful as wed complained about very noisy raucous other residents, young guys. I felt very worried how to get to the train station with heavy luggage, and if we really had to try to find a taxi in the centre of town and how we could manage, so I asked the owner to call a taxi which he did straight away. Thank goodness I asked a second time and not believed the female staff member. I felt she had been so unkind unnecessarily, from pure spite, we had never been rude or difficult with her, she caused great worry then. Some staff seemed to me also to be xenophobic, and I found this more in Austria than any other country visited, Ive been to over eighty. Apparently Germany had an education programme after the war about racism, I felt relaxed there. Austria did not, it is very needed. I recommend to all I know it may be a place to avoid unless they have similar education program.

Everything was perfect. The host was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was REALLY GOOD, also salmon, shrimps, fruits you can get how much you can want. Beds are VERY comfortable I sleep like a baby here!

Beautiful and cozy

The common area, the garden, were amazingly beautiful. The owners were kind and always offered tea and coffee, and a nice kchen during tea time. There was also a self-service bar. It felt more like staying in a cozy family house than a hotel, which for us feels great!

Maybe it would be convenient to have a bathroom in the common area.

Absolutely fabulous, it was perfect location for tennis. Would love to come back in winter.

So impressed with Hotel Edelweiss! Klaus and Veronica together with their niece were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable beds, room with gorgeous views and soft fluffy white bathrobes! All the extras you expect in 5 star hotels.
