Hostal Fernando is an amazing hostel with a perfect location. The staff are nice and the rooms are small but well equipped and clean. The breakfast is delicious and offers a good choice. The restaura (Read More)nt next door is also highly recommended. The hostel provides lockers and the staff are helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall, the hostel exceeds expectations and offers great value for money.

Breakfast was wonderful, wish we had eaten dinner restaurant next door! Access to the waterfront was within walking distance.

We were warned elevator would not be working, so slow going for me up the stairs. We arrived fairly late, but a good Samaritan on the street led us to front door and warned about pickpockets, which we never encountered!

Excellent location

Perfect location. Metro on either end of the street. Picasso Museum just down the road and the awesome streets of El Born all around. Great breakfast included.

It's a bit small and dark up in the room but just fine for when you want to go see a bunch of stuff in town.

Location is good

location is good and the staff is helpful ,but if you want relax in your holiday this is not for you. room is very tiny, noisy outside and the bed is not comportable .breakfast is very basic. Me and my wife is excited to visit Barcelona but we disapointed in this accomodation.

Great place. Good customer service. Awesome breakfast!

This property is located super close to all main road in Barcelona also, if you use the Metro, you have plenty of options to use it. Great great place. One thing the I wont lie! IT CAN GET VERY NOISY!!! Due to the proximity to main streets !! BUT THAT DIDNT BOTHER US !! After the whole day we were so tired that we fell asleep super fast. But yes, it can get noisy . Overall this a great place and the TOP A breakfast option. I will comeback to this place in a heartbeat.

Just that it can be Noisy but that didnt bother me.

Phenomenal 5 days spent I. September and planning to return

A warm a welcoming home away from home in Barcelona. Stayed during La Merce and was surprised to find the location perfectly located to all the events. Joaquin was an informative front desk concierge as were all the other front desk staff. I look forward to a return visit next year!

Very good position, safe and close to metro station Lyceu, so easy to get anywhere. Breakfast is very good, the only thing missing was egg omelette, but there were boiled eggs. Plenty of food, added permanently. Room is clean and quite nice. I very recommend to visit the restaurant of the hotel, it's much cheaper and of better quality! Also you get 10% discount.

Room on the 5th floor - elevator doesn't go there. Room is small, cold, the double bed is 140 cm wide (or even 130). But receptionist was very kind and changed the room to the 1st floor and it was nice from him!
