Suite looked amazing but there was some lingering smell. Smoke? Cigars? Smell was unpleasant and more so at night. When I reached back home smell was on belongings

Do not look further! This is it!

I love love love this hotel!!! It was so much better than I expected. I wish I could stay longer! Very welcoming and friendly receptionist, huge room with the most comfortable bed and pillows! I am always cold and I was super happy to see an additional blanket available! Very big walk in shower, would fit three people! Kitchen with everything You will need! The biggest fridge I've seen in hotels. Lots of parking space, per friendly. This is an absolute perfect place to stay! I highly recommend it!

Nice room, nice pool, quiet

Lobby was very cold. Need a clothesline in shower for bathing suits. Cold water in bathroom was warm. No eatery within walking distance.

Did not turn out to be the family trip we had planned.

Breakfast was kinda cold-eggs,sausage and roasted potatoes. Kids were running thru the halls and the room above us.

In booking the hotel,I was looking at the Homewood Suites Desmoines west. Somehow , it got switched to the airport hotel and didnt find that out until I went to check in and they said I wasnt on their reservation list. They told Us they couldnt change and we needed to go to the airport hotel. Needless to say- we had to drive 12 miles each way every day to see our kids and grandkids who were all staying at the west Desmoines hotel for softball tournament.It certainly wasnt the trip we had planned.
