Will never stay at another Holiday Inn.

The location was good

Reserved the room for 3 and paid for 3 adults. But only received free breakfast for 2. It was Holiday Inn policy. Will not stay again at any Holiday Inn. The bathroom did not have enough towels and wash clothes. Toilet seat needed to be replaced. No TV channel guide in the room. Not enough coffee pods, only 2 for 3 people. Should not be spending all my time in room, requesting towels and other items that should be in room.

Great location with great people.

Excellent staff especially the bartender Rebecca. Very friendly. Mike at the front desk was also very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean but due for a renovation.

Great place to stay for our birthdays

Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Room was clean and quiet. They got us not only a balcony view of the pool like I requested but also printed a picture of a raccoon and placed it on a bed like I requested. My friend got a kick out of that.

The pool, hot tub, and floors around the pool area were worn down, with a tile or two missing in the pool floor. They could use some touchups. Mornings could be a bit noisy since they were working on repairing the large glass dome over the pool area, though that didn't bother me much.

We won't be back.

The patience and professionalism of the employee at the reservation desk that evening was amazing. I told her I would have been crying if I had been put in the position she was put in. The reservations desk at a hotel on a Saturday night, across the street from the airport deserves more than one employee.

Check in was a nightmare. You did not have our reservation and attempted to make it our fault because we used a "third party" reservation system. This is 2023; as an established hotel firm it is your job to be up to date with technology-not attempt to penalize us because we used technology.

Disappointing

Love Holiday Inn but will not be as trusting next time I am in Des Moines

I should have been advised that your facility was under renovation BEFORE we made our reservation. Room was clean but hallway was messy and congested.
