Amazing!!

The room was nice and the boss's accessibility by telephone was great. we were allowed to put our suitcases away so that we could enter the city.

Good location but not clean and worth 135 for 1 night.

Location was good with parking close by

The shower was not clean. The body soap/shampoo was empty. It was dusty in the room and the ceiling had old blood spots of muscitos.

Exceptional

Interior is just amazing

Nice clean place in safe district with clean rooms. We had been quite surprised (in the good way) by the interior of our room. Hotel is self check in, breakfast is basic but alright, kind and nice staff, wifi worked well. Its very close to the city centre, there is food shop just across the street. The best things were that heating had been working well (we traveled in november) and size of the bed. When i travel again to Ghent i would pick up again this place. We had been really happy there.

Close to the city center, very walkable. Check in and check out were very easy with a code in our e-mail.

The pictures are staged and the furniture (i.e. the breakfast room etc do NOT look like the pictures!!) We had to sit on metal chairs and metal tables in a very cold unwarmed room with very little light to eat breakfast (which was super basic). The pictures and furniture in them are a lie!!

Vintage yet charming

The hotel is located in a very old, but well kept and charming building. The rooms have undergone renovation recently, and they looked quite modern (aside from a few cracks in the wall). Our room was spatious, and we didn't have to carry a key around since there is a code lock system both for the front door and the room. There is a grocery store right across the street, and the city centre is also nearby (about a 10 minute walk to the Gravensteen).

The door to our room was hard to close, but that is understandable in such a building.

avoid unless you want to sleep with bedbugs

Nothing. Unable to stay at the property due to bed bug infestation

Bed bug infestation, we checked in to find bed bugs in the sofa bed mattress. We left immediately and were refused a refund for that night. Zoom in to black spots in photo, some of them are blood stains from the last person to stay in the room.

I liked the design of the room.

I didn't like that the room was isolated from the rest of the building and it was rainy and cold when I walked outside the room to exit from the building.
