Close to friends home

Humming noise in room. Water pressure in shower low. Left car at friends house because of homeless and unsafe activity in area outside hotel.

Will stop at Bakersfield Hampton again.

Location is good. Close to a restaurant we used. Close to several gas stations.

A few street people outside, but I noticed a Security Person outside in the morning. The property is aging a bit. The breakfast is so HoHum. Can we have Fresh Fruit? Not over-ripe bananas, or tired apples? How about some whole wheat or whole grain muffins and better bread. Everything is Cakey white flour muffins, bread, pancakes. In todays day and age, we should be eating healthier food. (My opinion).

Very good

Were staying there again on the way back home on Wed night.

Jose at the front desk was extremely helpful when I called the day before our arrival with numerous questions. Breakfast was quite good.

We had four crickets in our bathroom in checkin - possibly came in thru bath drain! We had to dispose of them .

Overall good but neighborhood a bit scetchy.

Good size room. Very quiet and comfortable. Hood breakfast and free parking.

The neighborhood was kinda sketchy. There was a security quard in the parking lot watching cars.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were disappointingly surprised by the high level of noise both inside and outside the hotel - being next to a main freeway did not help. But we did not sleep well! And the breakfast was not up to the usual pleasing standard that we have experienced in a number of other Hampton Inn stays.
