The Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport is a nice, clean hotel conveniently located near the airport. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated and are comfortable. Some guests mentione (Read More)d being able to hear noise from adjacent rooms, possibly due to thin walls. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a good breakfast selection. There was construction happening during one guest's stay, but they were able to change rooms to minimize the noise and still enjoyed their stay. Overall, guests had positive experiences at this hotel.

Superb

It was a nice a stay

Room was very clean. We could hear the people next to our room but nothing too extreme. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The ladies tending the breakfast area were rude. We got to have breakfast 15 minutes prior to breakfast closing and you could tell they didnt like it. My kid went to grab a banana and the lady immediately put the fruit basket away.

Location and brand.

Property under construction and that had not been mentioned at the time of booking, so there was no lobby. There were bugs as well.

Although they were doing construction, the temporary entrance was clearly marked and everyone was very friendly.

Due to temporary construction, parking was limited.

Horrible attitude, horrible renovation site, should have closed this facility until ready for public

The room was fine, but we were paying for that aspect

This facility is under heavy construction/remodel, and they didn't mention this on their website, nor when we talked with them. We came in during a rainstorm, granted, not their issue. But the entrance was temporary, not covered, with no suitcase access, no overhead protection, behind a cobblestone obstacle course. The staff was curt, no courteousness, no apology, pretty much "we don't care."

It is under renovation. The rooms look old and I inviting. The elevator was dirty and the elevator walls damaged. The breakfast area was dirty, the cereal area needed cleaning, and the cereal was awful, perhaps stale. Employees were nice, but several were in old jeans and tshirts, so they blended in with guests. I think they should say they are renovating before someone makes a reservation.

I always try to stay at Marriott but very disappointed in this stay

This hotel should not be open during renovations

There is nowhere to park. Traveling alone and arriving late at night I had to park very far away from the make shift entrance which felt unsafe. Breakfast was in the cleared out gym and closed at 9:00, way to early to stop serving breakfast. Tractor trailer delivering supplies blocked in several cars trying to leave in the morning.

Disappointing at best.

The front desk staff for check in and check out were great!

I wasn't told in advance that the pool would be closed, and that the fitness area would be closed. However I was told pay to park wasn't an available but yet was offered to the two people in front of me checking in. I wanted to use that service but was told I couldn't so I paid almost double to park at the parking spot. So everything I wanted from your facility wasn't provided
