The location is good, the staff are nice, rooms are ok

The rooms have the AC system through pipes around the building so when people smoke inside the rooms you can smell from yours. We arrived and asked to change rooms but the second had the same problem. It was smelly and annoying, specially because our room didn't have a window. Breakfast was also not good for the price it is.

Modern and clean hotel, good location, great breakfast

The hotel is very modern, the room clean and cozy. The location is great, just 4 mins walk to Jl Jaksa. Also, the breakfast was probably one of the best I've had during my trip - open buffet with so many options and local dishes to try from.

Good safe and affordable hotel in Central Jakarta

Clean, safe neighborhood. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Breakfast has decent choices of both Indonesian and western. Helpful staff.

Glass/frosted glass doors on both showers and toilet. Toilet is pretty cramped too.

Good, clean, affordable hotel located in Central Jakarta

Good, safe, walkable location - good restaurants and cafes around walking distance. Great wifi. Room was decent for 1 person but enough to get around with a luggage area (tight for 2 people). Bed was comfy, and I slept well on it. Staff were nice and always tried to be helpful. Rooftop bar has a nice view of central Jakarta. Breakfast has a good moderate choice of both Indonesian and western dishes. Attempt to be eco-friendly by minimizing the use of plastic bottles by providing water in a glass refillable bottle/vase (but it's still covered with a plastic cover). Toiletries provided - toothbrush, shampoo, bodywash, slippers - with hairdryer and iron on request.

The room had no window (didn't know I had to book one with a window if I wanted one!), didn't bother switching since I was out most of the day & night but the room definitely felt stuffy because of that. Didn't understand the whole frosted glass shower and toilet doors style either - but both were clean ( the toilet was cramped in there), so if you have a roommate, expect to get to know them more (than maybe you'd like!).
