Beautiful old hotel in an excellent location

The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location as it is just a few minute walk from the main attractions in the city.

Breakfast was just okay but for the price paid it was acceptable.

Sometimes older is best

A great 400 year old building, we really liked it. Owner/Manager was exceptional. It's is not a modern premier inn, so don't expect a box room with no character. Sure there is no bar, and the bathroom is basic, and not everything is shiny and new. There is no lift......but the place is in an excellent position, and full of character. Would I stay here again....in a heatbeat.

The lack of lift and bar was a slight issue. And the public car park was slightly inconvenient.

Charming historic hotel for a stay in Gent

Charming antique building and contents. Excellent breakfast. Eggs cooked to order.. We booked parking space very conveniently near under cover and safe. All staff helpful friendly and charming. All attractions bars etc within a few minutes walk supermarket adjacent

Great hotel right in the center of Ghent!

Location is great, just in the centre of Ghent. Easily accessible via public transport and walking. Breakfast is delicious and complete and the service provided by the staff was excellent. The building is old, so it sets the mood perfectly for a visit in the city.

The hose of the shower is not hung on the wall so it is a bit hard to shower.
