Great Location and Value, Amazing Facilities

Nice location and amazing facilities all within a stones throw of Halstatt. Very well-equipped kitchenette too.

Despite being well equipped we were missing some soap.

Breakfast was good and staff are friendly. However room facilities need some upgrade.

Near to Obertraun train station

Some of the items in the room need repair such as the shower sliding door, flush buttons and bed lamp switch. Did not provide cups or glasses.

Just ok, would have stayed somewhere else if Hallstatt hotels had vacancy as we booked late.

Bed was comfortable. They had bacon for breakfast and the bathroom was large with separate bathtub and shower. The view from our room (2nd floor) was nice.

There should be a door lock from inside the room without using the keys (using the room key to lock the door was very inconvenient and not safe). No small bin in room for trash. The resort was skimping on toiletries, shampoo and body wash bottles (1 set) were smaller than my finger, they are not good quality too (Reception was too far away to ask for extras, you have to walk far outdoors in the cold). No wash cloth. Shower stall did not have any place to place the toiletries, we had to put them on the floor. No towel hanger near the shower stall. Lavatory counter was too small and mirror was not enough for two people to use at same time, very inconvenient. Since the rooms were far from the reception/restaurant, you have to walk far to get breakfast in the morning. The Christmas Dinner was not worth it for 37 euros, very small portion. I dont think the $265 I paid for the night was worth it.
