Breakfast was excellent

Room 820 had no safety rail in Bath. It didn't affect us as we used shower upstairs off bedroom, however we felt it was a bad fault and surely health and safety is essential

Vacation from the dreams - you wont regret it

-Mega location at the beach , very easy access to the beach -Large variety of food in all-inclusive and super tasty fresh cocktails. We had thematic dinner that changes every night, which was amazing! -Very friendly hotel stuff -Beautiful and clean room with a view on the ocean -Pool towels available with 20 deposit and can be changed every day for free

-Spa was really small and saunas not very hot to German standards, so we would not recommend it -The hotel guest are mostly old people and entertainment is aimed to them -Safe in the room has to be paid extra -Parking situation during midday can be problematic. Hotel has own parking places but they are quite expensive and we didnt use them

Great value for money

Its a well managed established hotel next to a beach with ever changing, rich all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinners. Its got a nice exterior pools and bars. Its perfect value for money. The staff is great, they always try to do what they see on your eyes.

I cant say I didnt like it, but its good to know the clientele, at least during our stay, was mostly people over 50-60 years old. Also the animation in the hotel is kind of catering to that age group (but if you want, its not far to go to bars in centre instead staying in hotel for Abba night or grandma fashion show). Maybe thats why there is not that much vegetarian options among mains (but always enough salads and sides to combine something nice, even you dont eat meat).

Nice ocean view, relatively nice hotel, unprofessional staff and horrible surroundings

The hotel itself is clean and nice and has a quite beautiful view to the sea. The room (Top Floor Premium) was clean and nice. The staff is making efforts generally speaking, but seems poorly trained and badly organized.

The surroundings are very sad and industrial: only crowded buildings and a lot of cement, a few very outdated shops with the cheapest products in the so-called shopping center in front of the hotel. Nowhere to have a pleasant walk, nothing to do except for lying on the crowded terrace of the hotel. At the restaurant, too much staff and they are chatting loudly all the time, either ignoring the customers or suffocating them with useless interventions. We left after only 2 nights (we paid for 9 nights in a Top Premium Double Room, the most expensive one), and the reception staff had a very unprofessional reaction, though we didn't even require for the rest of the money back. They were totally unreactive when I said we would leave sooner. Not only they didn't ask why, but they were literally pretending not to hear me explaining and seemed to only want to get rid of us as fast as possible. They were not busy with someone else at the moment. I don't know if this attitude was due to their poor English skills or to the fact that they are used to disappointed clients leaving much sooner than planned. However, it was an important financial loss for us and a big disappointment, so a minimum of politeness would have been normal. We left because the strong calima winds were making the stay impossible: dust everywhere, impossible to breath, to keep the windows open or to do any activity outside. This is of course not the hotel's fault, but a natural common phenomenon in the Canary Islands that we were unlucky to experiment during our holydays this time. But even without calima, we would never go to San Agustin again. There are much more beautiful places on the Canary islands and even in Gran Canaria one can find better.

Location is perfect. Nice promenade to walk for hours. Right on the beach. But also, hotel have 2 pools ( smaller one heated). I enjoy my sea view room and sound of the waves during the night. Food is great. People smiling and helpfull. Also, across the street shops.....and weather is great.

Everything is fine.
