Very good

Would recommend for a family.

Location. Was very relaxed. Living Reef was great. Good range of tours and activities

Not many options for food. Would be great to have a takeaway option and somewhere to get an icecream after dinner. My daughter had allergies and we found it hard.

Enjoyed my stay but expect 3 star standard

A beautiful island with fantastic views from the room as well as the pool area, island beaches and some of the restaurants. The living reef was a fun addition. Salti's restaurant was great. Good food with a nice view of the ocean and surrounding islands. Infinity restaurant food was good but I didn't like the ambience (for example, you could turn the air-conditioning down. No really, you should). The rooms were largely clean (except the floor was not cleaned during our stay so was not great after a couple of days). Loved the presence of wildlife like walaroos and cockatoos. Plenty to do for a three day visit. Big swimming pools, beaches, areas to snorkel, some basic watersports and easy access to tours around the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven beach.

The hotel was a bit dated e.g. broken fixtures in the rooms, the grout needed a clean, jacuzzi out of service and filled with leaves, carpets along the corridors were filthy, some of the toilet blocks were in bad condition. Not a big deal overall - just manage your expectations. I would recommend opting out of the breakfast buffet. The plates were either wet, dirty or both. The buffet area was not kept clean and it took ages for the staff to attend to dirty tables. It really put me off eating so I stuck with toast! Thankfully the on site restaurants were better.

Location is beautiful but wouldnt stay longer than a couple of days, especially if you have young kids.

Views, wildlife, pools

Amenities, there was only a small shop that is very under stocked, not great if you have young kids, overpriced and not alot of variety in food, probably not somewhere you would stay for more than a couple of days at most.

I enjoyed the stay and the vibes in the resort. The pool was amazing.

There isnt halal food options which was very hard for us to eat at the resort and the restaurants all close very early

Great hotel to just relax

The property had a large enough pool to not feel compacted with all the hotel guests. The breakfast was good. The island is beautiful full of wildlife.

The hotel was understaffed, they were doing their very best to accommodate all guests. The hotel was always short on amenities and there wasnt much a variety of food for lunch and dinner.

Lovely location - sights were beautiful and the island looks self was beautifully situated.

The rooms were filthy. We were moved room because the bathroom ceiling was leaking and ready to cave in, to a room that had an inch of dust and hair on the floor which had been sold as an upgrade. There was no food available unless you had booked weeks prior in the restaurant, if not you had to eat extortionately priced food which was of a ridiculously sub par standard. We paid 15 per burger from a bbq which was undercooked. The room was not cleaned in the four nights we were here, one night we managed to catch them and get fresh towels at 7pm. The pools were dirty. The pool beds were filthy and covered in ants. The be bedrooms were filthy and covered in bugs . Would not recommend staying here unless you want to starve yourself for a few days & bake in the sun with no drinks service.

Great location, its an adventure itself to get there

The hotel is nice and staff is amazing, lots of nature and activities (which start kinda late) but you have a lot of options and things to do

Halls to the bedroom they gave us are outdated and could be renovated as well as the room weve got. Asked for ocean view and ended up being looking at the marina. The tub was rusty so we couldnt use it.

Superb

was a great stay- great location and wonderful activities to do and amazing food!

The food was great! We especially loved the buffet breakfast and the dinner grain grill- so yummy.

The bathroom was nice however the shower/bathtub paint was peeling and didnt look very nice.

Disappointing, would not stay again until improvements are made

Limited food options, only one restaurant available for lunch and dinner (during majority of our stay) with same menu daily. Breakfast buffet options was the same each day, not great for those who are vegetarians Towels were fluffy and full of lint Cups and mugs in room were dirty Bathroom was not cleaned properly and not always restocked Kangaroo poo everywhere and was not cleaned up, even in swimming pools Staff seemed to be quite new and not very knowledgeable Customer service was lacking, no smiles No clear signage where to order food for lunch Room could be cleaner, floors were not sweeped or mopped during stay. Balcony floor and railings were dirty and full of bird poop Three false fire alarms in early hours of morning and late at night

It was a nightmare couldn't wait to go home. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Just the view.

Everything else. There was limited food options. Staff at restaurant and hotel were very rude and unhelpful, especially the staff head at the Satli restaurant. Food was tasteless and the pools were very dirty. The island smelt like a sewer. The room was not clean on arrival. House keeping was horrid. The toilets were never cleaned and the supposedly clean towels were dirty. The tv in the room was outdated. There is only 5 main meal options for room service. Room service hours are limited to 5pm to 8:30pm. There was barely any air-conditioning throughout the island making breakfast a chore as we had to sit through humid weather during breakfast each morning. Even the lobby or restaurants are not air-conditioned. The activities were booked out and staff at the hotel kept lying about availability. The outdoor activity area was deserted and ancient looking.
