The Azure Sea Whitsunday Resort is highly recommended for its great apartments with comfortable outdoor furniture and fantastic pools. The views from the balcony are sensational and the rooms are spa (Read More)cious. The property offers a nice view over Airlie Beach and a relaxing pool. Although there is a bit of a walk up the hill from town, it is not an issue as taxis are affordable. The units are beautiful with breathtaking views, however, there is a steep climb up from the main strip. Overall, one of the nicest apartments in Airlie Beach.

Amazing penthouse for friends

Nicole on reception was so lovely and very accomadating for us. The room was gorgeous with beautiful sea view. Very comfy beds and spacious apmt. Everything we needed was available. Very pleased with the place and will be returning here for sure.

The view was great. The staff were politie and able to facilitate an early check in for us, the apartament was very spacious although 2 bedrooms were closed (locked) which is fine. Well stocked amenities for self catering/laundry.

There was a strong odourus smell from the bathroom (before anyone had used it haha). The bathroom looked visually dirty /dark grout black silicon and hazy glass. The bathtub faucett i think may have been snapped of in potentially in the process of repair There was a vacuum in the laundry cupboard that was full of dust and was ommiting a "wet dog" type of odor. Just a few details that need addressing to bring the property is line with the price paid.

Million dollar view from balcony Short walk to Main Street and great location Lots of room as a 2 bedroom unit

Delay in response to inquiry for tour bookings. May want to prebook tours on own as missed out on first choice as sold out during the delay in response.

Views were amazing and the facilities were really good.

We didn't see any staff. The signage for the accommodation was severely lacking and when you did find one it was not very clear. Our room was not on the list next to lift 1, after calling someone they explained we would need to use lift 2 but there was nowhere that told us how to get to lift 2 (fyi use lift 1 go to basement and on exit there are then signs to lift 2)

Pool was really lovely. Apartments have everything you need in them.

There was no real luggage storage to keep belongings prior to check in. Had to just risk leaving them in the hallway which didn't feel safe. When arriving into the room, it looked an awful lot bigger than advertised. It was a 4 bedroom apartment for a family. I know most people would be happy with this 'upgrade' but it wasn't at all what we pictured when booking. With it just being the two of us, we wanted a cute, cosy little apartment. The bedroom also had no windows or ocean views which is something we really wanted when booking. Fair to say I was a little disappointed. If you book a certain room, you should get that certain room. If it wasn't available, why would it have allowed us to book. Some prior notice would have been ideal too as I'd have re thought our stay here. The hallways have a really nasty bin smell from the bin shutes. It made it very unpleasant upon entering and leaving the apartment. Aircon in the bedroom was constantly ticking and it kept me up during the night. Maintenance weren't able to fix it either which was frustrating. All in all, the room seemed a little run down and grubby. Had to re wash most of the dishes and cookware prior to using. Bathroom mirror had splash marks and the tap wasn't the cleanest. Not quite the picture perfect stay I was imagining.

Beautiful penthouse

The staff and the great view from the penthouse. Nicole and Yvonne were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The penthouse has everything we need as family of 4. It has enough amount of plates, glasses, cutleries, cooking utensils etc. The bathroom is dated but it's clean so we don't mind it. The beds were comfortable, they have blankets in the WIR if needed. The apartment has 2 pools, kids love them. There's also a gym but we didn't use it. The penthouse has everything, it is definitely a home faraway from home.

This is not an issue, but if you are not hiring a car for your trip, please be aware that the apartment is at the very top of the hill. We walked down to the town centre 2 times during our 4 nights stay, but I think it is not very kids friendly as there is no crossing path at the runabout. We didn't hire a car so we travelled by taxi. The taxi ride coats around $8-$13 each way from the apartment to Port Airlie/ boathaven beach/woolworths, so it's not too bad! I would recommend downloading the taxi app on your phone it is very convenient.

Big appartment has plenty of space. Location was good. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Comfortable beds. Smart TV was nice. Also quiet area in the middle of the hill. Undercover carpark is a bonus. Kids also loves the swimming pool.

Maybe can be cleaned a bit more. One blonde hair was found master bedroom. Otherwise clean enough.
