Very good

First time away at New Year but overall enjoyed it . Thank you

Breakfast was fine what we liked and normally have. Room very comfortable and clean as for location its Oban , my third visit 2023 says it all. Parking very limited.

I think the lift needs replacing was broken down 2 out of our the nights , not great for the older ones

Good position of hotel central for all attractions in Oban. Beds small but comfortable. Cafe Rio attached to hotel - food excellent & lovely atmosphere.

Breakfast basic & self service. Not good value for money. Lounge/bar - no atmosphere.

Excellent position in Oban but a non working lift!

Very central on the sea front, comfortable room and very clean.

Lift wasnt working for 2 out of our 3 days there, so was very difficult to go up and down the stairs. We were informed by someone who stays there often, that the lift breakdown is a frequent occurrence, so not good if you have mobility issues. The lift is very old fashioned where you have to open/close two doors and it holds two people at a time!!

The location was brilliant

I decided to treat myself a breakfast, wish I hadn't now. The bacon, sausage were solid. Couldn't eat it. The beans and egg were cold. Not being able to eat my so called hot breakfast i decided to try a croissant, yip it was as hard as a rock. Complained at the desk and all they did was offer me a free breakfast the next time I stayed there.

Twixmas Break in Oban

We are return visitors, and our review is based on our expectations and the price we paid for our stay....The Hotel is in a great location and has fab views over the bay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The original room we booked was smaller than we hoped for, and 2 helpful staff members helped us upgrade to a much larger room with stunning views, which we appreciated. We very much enjoyed our stay and will return

The hotel is an old building that requires ongoing upgrades to maintain standards. Our room was fab, located on 3rd floor, with great views over the bay and main street.

Stay away!

They have a lift that barely holds 2 persons with minimum luggage. Wheelchair users might have a problem!

Summer quilts on beds in winter. I had to ask for another blanket! Christmas Dinner was tepid, but the plates were hot. We were served a meal with child's portions! eg.1slice of turkey. We were.charged 39.95 . Three other tables with a total of approx 26 covers complained. My husband and I do not normally say anything but this was so below standard. We come to Oban every year at Christmas, but I'm afraid Your hotel is not one we will frequent again, I will not be recommending it either. The heating is so old it needs updating. Merry Christmas.
