    Nice area with free and safe parking outside the hotel. Spacious room.
    Cold breakfast with poor selection of everything, a bit strange for a 4 star hotel. Outdated bathroom.

    I have already booked my next stay in summer 2024 so we can actually try the pool!
    Staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive (loose shower head fixed within less than an hour of being reported), the room has all the basics and there is a small supermarket up the road. Despite the December sunshine, we didn't get to try the pool but the balcony made up for it! Both teenagers made the most of the gym and games room (very quiet at this time of year).
    Slow drains which I'm sure the hotel will address as part of their maintenance works

    Ok to stay one night but not longer
    Location is exceptional
    Even though the hotel was empty, I had to change several rooms to get a little more silent one. I asked for a room on a higher floor, but stayed on the 1st floor and woke up at 6am at the sound of the service car under the window. The beds are not very comfortable

    Breakfast was lacking variety. The lighting in the room was a bit dark.

    Microwave is old. There is only one plug-in in the kitchen. Missed 2 out of 11 wake-up calls.
