Location

Location is the main attraction. We can walk to all the main spots of Pondicherry. Mr. Jam was a nice human, very friendly and helpful. He suggested good food spots too.

They are always closing the main door. So every time we should call them for entry and exit.

Feel at home in Prabha Guest house

Rooms are large, bed is large, clean, well equipped. There is a pleasant desk to work if needed inside the room and outisde the room on the small balcony. The hotel is located in the indian area (temple, shops..) near the french area (5 min walking distance which is the touritisc area) so it is a good mix. Above all Prabha is very nice and helpfull. And if you are lucky, Julien (former french consul) could be here and share with you a lot of good tips about Pondicherry. I spent a fantastic week end in Pondicherry, definitely worth.

Nothing, just to precise rooms are on the street as most guest house so could be a bit noisy for some people as Pondi is an active city.

Pondicherry (beautiful place and super nice people)

The hosts (Chez and Prabha) super awesome! They greeted me with big smiles. Gave me a complete 3 day itinerary, hand written :) Which was super helpful. The dorm was super clean and spacious. It always smelled good, whenever I entered the dorm. The location is perfect. Everything is at a walkable distance. Perfect location and it was a perfect vacation. I will definitely visit again along with my husband and stay with you. The caretaker (Narendrum - I am sorry if I got his name wrong). He is the best. Always on his toes, taking care of things and he is always there whenever needed. Super nice person. Thanks a lot for everything!! Will see you soon..

I just wish us Indians knew a little more about staying in hostels and the basic etiquettes. Just a few things really, avoid talking loudly, inside the dorm after hours and maintain the cleanliness of the place. No complaints or dislikes about the place. My stay was perfect! Thank you again!

The hosts were extremely nice. The room is very cosy, a cute little place, ideal for two. We stayed for 3 nights and loved this place more everyday . And again, the hosts are amazing! They told us everything, you can go there without planning too and they will guide you about everything.

The location feasibility wise was also very convenient, but it is not located in white town if you're looking for that. It's about 1.2~1.3km from white town. Rest everything was perfect!

Very Good & safe stay. Definitely worth staying for those who are travelling to explore.

Worth staying. No disturbance. The dormitory is furnished with AC, and very good and neat restroom. Caretaker is available for 24/7.

Children's are not allowed. So those who are thinking of staying with children will not be able to stay here.
