Awesome stay in a beautiful art deco hotel

Lovely art deco design, in the heart of Jogja! Their mie goreng (included as part of the complimentary breakfast) was the best I've tried on my trip with springy noodles tossed in an umami sauce. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the refreshing scent that they put in the room made the comfy room even better.

Ceria-sly amazing!

Ceria was very clean and organized. The food was very tasty (though they made better western food than the mie goreng). The staff were attentive and nice. My room, though small, was very well kept, I slept so well and had a very food rest after days of hiking. Wouldnt trade this for the bigger hotels in Jogja.

The best decision made

Choosing Ceria Hotel was the best decision I made for my Yogya trip, one of the best (if not THE best) places Ive ever stayed at. Every corner and every detail was so thoughtfully designed and crafted, with guests needs in mind. Deluxe double room was clean and spacious enough for 2. Comfy beds with curtains and Netflix TV. My request for a quiet corner was given (the back room @ Kenanga 3) which I really appreciate. Room is made up daily, water filter right outside the room for refills. Applaud the no plastic initiative with a jug of water provided in the room. Sandals available for indoor use, and umbrella for guests on rainy days which really came in handy. They served us welcome drink the moment we arrived, service impeccable and always helpful on WhatsApp, intimate but not overbearing. Great and tasty breakfast options, personal favourite is mee soto and fried rice. The space itself was a true peaceful oasis from the chaos outside. Every time I step into my hotel I feel a sense of calm relief. Beautiful architecture. Location is convenient near the main square and Malioboro, a short 10 mins walk away. So many attractions nearby. 200% will come back. The best value with low occupancy. I was contemplating between a few hotels and this no doubt turned out to be the best. Choose here and thank me later!

Truly no complaints. My only feedback is to have more drinks and fruit variety? As we stayed for 4 nights and every morning we had the same drinks (only tea/coffee) and fruits (papaya/watermelon). Some variety ie local fruits (snakefruit) or drinks (wedang uwuh) wouldve made it perfect!
