The Catalonia Rigoletto offers wonderful service and helpful staff. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym, with the pool being kid-friendly. The room service is available until 11 pm and the beds are (Read More) large and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and bus stops, and is only a 10-minute walk to the Nou Camp. The Italian restaurant on-site serves delicious food. Some minor drawbacks include limited ventilation in the bathrooms and thin walls. Overall, it is a relaxing and pleasant place to stay.

Bad wifi in the room. Parking under the hotel is expensive, better consider taxi services if you're staying in Barcelona city.

From check in to check out, amazing staff, lots of lovely extras, comfort and an ideal location!

An amazingly warm welcome on arrival, very friendly helpful staff, the glass of cava on check in was a lovely touch. The room was huge, very comfortable too, amazing bathroom and again more extra touches like fruit & water in the room. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice, good coffee & again the staff were fantastic. The hotel is in a perfect location too. Only 7 minute walk from the main metro station and then 20 minutes to the center on Barcelona and 10 further to the airport. I would absolutely stay here again and can not recommend it highly enough!

Excellent room. Poor staff

Loved this hotel. Although when I was walking in from outside, my first impression was it was a budget hotel... and that's not what I paid for. It has a basic reception but it is nice so that didn't do much to change my mind either. However I booked a junior suit, and I have to say I loved it. Beautiful big bedroom with a luxurious touch. A small, but lovely living area, and an amazingly big elegant bathroom, with a huge bath and seperate power shower. overall it was an amazing room. I would definitely stay here again. the hotel also has a quaint restaurant space, and separate breakfast area. The food was of restaurant quality.

The location of the hotel wasn't ideal. I usually stay closer to the city centre. The metro system is nearby, so it was still easy enough to get in to where all the action is. Also, I know they have a standard check in time. However I did notify the hotel at the time of booking that I would be arriving 3 hours early. They advised that they would do their best to get me checked in as soon as they could. I also reminded them on the morning of my arrival that I was arriving early. I was advise over the phone that my room would be ready for me earlier than the check in time; however i would still have a short wait, which was excellent. When I arrived I was then told my room wouldn't be ready early, and in fact my room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour after their standard check in time. So I had to hang around the lobby for 4.5 hours before I could get checked in. 1.5 hours after I should have been able to check in. I wasn't offered any complimentary food or drink for me having to wait. Which I thought was a bit poor. However a few hours later they did bring me a complimentary bottle of champagne and food platter, which was nice. The overall friendliness of the staff, from front of house to waiting staff was very poor. Never experienced unfriendly hotel staff in Spain before... and i travel to Spain 4 - 5 times a year. With all the above; the room was still amazing, and I would stay here again, even despite the location and unfriendly hotel staff.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

Staff was super helpful, room was comfortable for 3 guests. Also great area for several coffee restaurants in the morning , and sweets at night! Hotel was maintained very well!

Did not have water in lobby available all the time. Pool area only had 3 chairs.
