The hotel's proximity to the (Read More)airport and clean rooms with air conditioning make it a convenient choice. The service is great, the food is tasty, and the outdoor area is visually appealing. The newer rooms are highly recommended, with comfortable beds and easy access to clean pools. Although the hotel is not the newest, it offers good value.

Amazing view, rooms need major maintenance work

Location was good, amazing view of the ocean, classic look and feel in the hotel.

AC was EXTREMELY loud in all rooms. As loud as construction work. There was a leak on the ceiling of our bathroom. It was quite expensive for what it is.

Disappointing

Not a good hotel

It has a good location for the airport and on the beach. Pools are ok.

Everything else! Not clean, smells, food not good and buffet covered in flies (having stayed at many Sri Lankan hotels this is not me being ignorant), rooms not very good, not a 4 star hotel in any way. 3 star at best and still not good for that! Avoid.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Camelot for 2 nights to start our trip around Sri Lanka. We wanted somewhere comfortable and close to the airport. We couldnt have been more pleased with the hotel the food was amazing, the pool was lovely (with a great bar), the staff were all really friendly (especially Muneer!) and they put on an amazing New Years Eve event. Overall I would highly recommend Camelot as somewhere to stay in Negombo.

Location of hotel is good.

Hotel is old and rooms and bathrooms look old and in need of renovation. Bathroom tiles have mould. Lift is very small.

Great location.

Great location, just next to the beach. Food was amazing- great selection.

Wasnt too keen on the private party they had from mid afternoon til early hours of the morning. So we cancelled our other booking as a precaution. Thought the a/c smelled a bit off as well. Getting pestered by the locals to buy products through the fence separating the beach.

Superb

Staff were lovely and professional. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and a wide variety of local and western options. Pool and grounds looking out over the beach was very nice. We were only there for a single night, but had no complaints.
