Excellent place to stay would highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to most things. Rooms were lovely. Comfortable beds. The lounge and bar areas were a lovely place to sit and unwind after a day of exploring.

There is no air conditioning which was fine in winter. But something you might need to consider if travelling in Summer.

We loved our stay and will be back. A wonderful place with helpful staff.

Wonderful old style hotel. A very generous sized room with a large bathroom. Space to unpack our bags, plenty of closet space for our jackets etc, plenty of room to relax, heated towel rail and large radiators for heating the room. The hotel is in a very quiet pedestrian street with only taxi's and the occasional delivery vehicle using the street. The hotel is in walking distance to most of the city features. It is an easy 20 minute walk from the railway station. There is a lovely communal lounge/ relaxation area with free tea, coffee etc available 24 hours.

The hot water is a little slow to come through to the shower and the temperature did fluctuate somewhat from cold to very hot but that wasn't a problem really.

Cosy Hotel in central Salzburg

We didnt have breakfast. The hotel only offers tea/coffee with croissant. The rooms were pretty. The only downside are thechurchbells but there is double glazing which makes all the difference if you dont need to open windows. Fantastic location though you get on foot from everywhere,

Fantastic Altstadt base

Fantastic Old Town location, extremely easy self check-in outside of front desk hours - and great communication to explain everything - really lovely spacious and warm room, spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed. There's also a really comfortable sitting area next to the lobby with an honesty bar -take what you want but leave a note so the cost can be added to the bill at check-out) or a machine for free hot drinks.

It's not really a 'didn't like' but the only thing that wasn't 100% perfect for us were the limited breakfast (coffee from the machine and a croissant).

Clean, comfy, good location but not 4star hotel!

Fantastic location, super comfy beds and clean rooms.

This is not really a hotel. More like managed rooms - no bar, no breakfast (a croissant and a coffee machine), no kettle in the bedrooms. No bath (despite website suggesting free standing bath). Really great location and comfy and clean. Large lounge that we enjoyed with our friends to play cards, but no atmosphere. Really not a 4 star hotel. Price didnt really reflect what you actually get for your Money.

Room was clean and spacious. Shower was nice but a bath would have been a bonus. Location very good. We didn't use the free coffee machine in the lounge and took our own hot drink making facilities for use in the room to make things easier. No real breakfast facilities, which we knew before staying there. Maybe a future consideration for the owners is to introduce a breakfast option.

A particular staff member (blonde and tattooed) was very unfriendly. On checking out, she took offence that we were checking out before 8am as apparently checking out is after 8am. Nobody told us we had to check out the night before. She didn't say anything like, I hope you enjoyed your stay, have a nice trip back. Just couldnt wait to get us out of the hotel and we felt like we had inconvenienced her.
