Unsatisfactory stay at the Bodhie woods resort
Very close to the Mahabalipuram monuments . Their Aviary was a nice place to interact with the birds .
Food and services were not upto the mark . My TV did not have active channels, even after many calls to the reception . "Filter coffee" was bland and their Noodles we had ordered for dinner was also bland . Their sister Resort ( Maruthan resorts ,where we stayed in August this year) has far more facilities and better food ,compared with this place

Pleasant get away, food needs more variety though taste was fine, small dining space, gets crowded at dinner.
Compact. Nice ambience. Safe. Quiet. Helpful staff.
Limited variety of food. Distance between one window and the bed inadequate in the standard room. Mosquito problem.

We stayed at the resort for three nights. We initially booked the 1-room chalet but once we got there we decided to upgrade to the chalet, which is more spacious inside and also has a small private patio. The location is great because it is nice and quiet on the outskirts of town but it is still easy to get into town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite especially the young woman (unfortunately I don't know her name), who seemed to be the duty manager. The onsite restaurant is good, lunch and dinner is made to order and there is a good choice. The aviary was a nice little additional feature and the gentleman who looks after the parrots is very helpful showing you the birds.

A good place for a short stay
Good breakfast spread. The rooms are cozy and are great for 2 people. Proximity to tourist attractions and the beach. They have an Aviary which has very interesting birds.
The restaurant can do with better cleanliness in line with the entire resort. Care also should be taken that customers are served fresh hot food. The Vadas served to us were cold and on asking the same were heated and got back to us. Some of the birds in the Aviary didn't look healthy. Exotic birds which are not in their natural habitat and are caged isn't fair to them.

Breakfast was ok. service was not great. Property is very good. Rooms were great and clean. Liked the aviary and the birds in the property.
Customer service was below average. Food was also not great.

Nice stay
The cabins were lovely, spacious comfortable and clean. The staff were very nice.
There was not much communal space to relax and the pool could have been kept cleaner.
