Bad

Worst day of my life

The owners refused to offer any type of a refund when I let them know my dog had died suddenly at the animal hospital and we couldnt get there for the night that we had paid in full. There are policies and there are people who dont have a heart.

Wonderful location

We loved the location, so close to all the shops and restaurants and with the wonderful verandah looking out over the sea. Although the rooms look slightly bigger in the photos, they were a good size and very comfortable. The contactless check in/out worked well, especially as we had to leave very early in the morning, but was slightly impersonal. The trip to Halibut Point State Park with its dramatic quarry and granite blocks near the sea was outstanding and highly recommended.

Good

It was fine. I wouldn't recommend against staying there to anyone else, but it was not a "must-stay.

The motel was perfectly fine, but there was nothing outstanding or special about it. The view from our second floor room was great. And it was very close to the reason we came to Rockport, a concert at the Shailin Liu Music Center. We also like the express check-in.

The motel could have been somewhat more accommodating about our request for a noon checkout. I had a class (by Zoom) from 10am-12pm, but the best I could get was an extension to 11:45. As a result, I missed a good portion of the second hour of my class.

Lovely stay right on the ocean.

Liked that the room faced out to the water. Left windows open to be able to fall asleep to the sound of the surf. A balcony area to sit out with a cocktail or morning coffee. Excellent location in Rockport, walk to shops, restaurants. Friendly, accommodating proprietor.

Great place, great communication from the team there. Get a large room

The location was superb. Also, the provision of parking was very convenient.

We understand that we had booked a "petite queen room" but it was really very small. Other rooms had front and back doors but our room (room 1) backed onto the cleaners store. Also, the wash basin tap had a broken plug.
