Exceptional

We all had a great time. Weather was wonderful and my room was kept clean and tidy.

Great variety with breakfast, lunch and dinner at Mahogany. Pool access was excellent as was the cleanliness . Kids loved that! Beach was never crowded. It was clean and water was warm. Beautiful and clean landscaping. Oceans gave great lunch. Housekeeper Carol was excellent. Veronica in Mahogany was professional and welcoming always. Maintenance was good at responding to issue .

Dinner at Ackee could have been better.

Okay, but not as excellent as my first experience earlier this year.

No major food issues. This was my second time in Azul. I was surprised at the fruit selection for each meal. Why didn't we get more local fruits - whatever was in season?

Maintenance - we had to call for maintenance 3 times- bathroom and hot water issues.

Avoid - very disappointing

The location on 7 mile is a great location, but not much else

Id read a lot of mixed reviews but always like to make up my own mind, unfortunately many of the reviews were correct! The property needs upgrading it is not five star and the food that we had was awful, the buffet was dry and my partner had pizza at the Italian which was barely even cooked tasted still like dough! A lot of the staff were rude, a few exceptions, reception staff were friendly and helpful and a couple of the bar staff and guy that helped with our bags. But security were rude to my partner when checking in, when I asked for sugar in my coffee they were really rude, it was like Id asked a massive thing and I asked really politely too. By our second day I wanted to leave! We were due to comeback for a further three nights but cancelled and credit that they agreed not to charge. Ive stayed at Karisma hotels in Mexico and amazing, so not sure what is going on with Azul but I will never return unless a huge overhaul! Much better hotels that are truly five star in Negril, and Ive stayed at 9 hotels in negril in and 1000s round the world as I stay in a lot for work too, so I know what to expect and this was just not good at all!

The hotel is big the water sport personal is excellent The supervisor for the bar on Monday makes our day, but other than that, nothing else is worth enjoying

The food is terrible Not a lot of activities Some staff are biased They are only for some guests The restaurant needs to deal with their food properly, its raw and bloody

The bartenders were friendly

There is no elevator the bellman had to struggle up the steps with the luggage all the way to the 3rd floor.. The food options was limited and didn't taste great. The parking is too far and you have to walk back to the hotel in the hot sun

Azul, step your game up.

The staff amazing. Friendly and genuine. Place was clean and great selection of food and drinks. Great setup.

Rooms are too close to the street cars and trucks kept us up most of the nights. Room service a mess. Got the order wrong 3 times, finally got it, food was cold. That's a deal breaker I come to Jamaica to rest I work in 5 countries I'm an infrastructure planner roads and bridges, im tired of planning everything just want some mashed potatoes was about to go the KFC and see if the had any. Sigh. Biggest hurdles no sleep because of noise and when you wake up food is at your own risk. No good. I'm coming back in 2 months let's see if there are any improvements. If not Royalton will be my rest and relaxation spot.

Exceptional

Everything was great. Exceptional staff members, twenty four hour room service, food buffets, delicious well prepared meals, clean rooms, quick and easy check in, peace and quiet, lovely beach and pools, enjoyed both swim up bars and others, entertainment such as dance class and foam party, beautiful property. Was worth every dollar. Had a great weekend. Will visit again.

Had to call to get our refrigerator restocked when we got there and the television could have had more channels to choose from while we were inside.
