Great location but very pokey room

Fantastic location in the old town, beautiful restaurant and cellars, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, quiet at night.

Our "small" double room was a very small cave like room with 2 single beds pushed together, thin foam mattresses and scratchy sheets - felt a bit like a youth hostel and definitely not worth 400 a night. Too small to move around in or unpack anything. No tea or coffee making facilities. Food in BlaueGans restaurant wasn't wonderful - more style over substance.

The location is excellent, bathroom is very spacious, the staff was very nice and friendly

Very small rooms with no space to put the luggage, no coffee, no water in the room except in the mini bar, very hard to move into and out of the room because of the many steps to walk up and down specially when carrying the luggage, no air-conditioning in winter policy, not much options in the breakfast.

An original hotel with a fabulous Negroni bar and great location.

Lovely hotel, quite original with the crazy artwork and age of the building. Superb location to explore the old town, castle and Christmas markets and also close to the bridges to new town ( which is still very old). We stayed in the Maisonette which was spacious. The kitchen/ dining room was a great place to enjoy an Illy coffee compliments of the hotel. Staff were quick to fix a few issues when we first arrived. Lovely restaurant and bar. Schnitzel was delicious as were the cocktails. Staff very accomodating finding a table on a busy night even though we hadnt booked.

Please etch something into the glass door between the living area and bathroom. It was closed and I walked into it and suffered a bruised head. Seriously dangerous. A Porter would have been appreciated to help carry heavy suitcases up the stone staircase to the Maisonette.

Salzburg was incredible and our hotel

The location was amazing

The lack of relaxed space, with no tea making facilities in the room. All the steps. So many steps to get to our room made luggage transportation a chllange. Plus Studio 2 felt like being in a dungeon. Also the fact that the bar was closed on a Monday before Christmas in high season was a bit poor.

Quirky and cosy hotel in the centre of the old town.

This is located in the centre of the old town so great for the Christmas markets. You can park in the local underground car park which is a short walk from the hotel.

The soap, shampoo etc, attached to the wall. No tea and coffee machine in the room.

Ideal central location in walking distance to most viewing spots, also close to many Christmas markets during December. Friendly and professional reception team. The bedroom is very spacious, modern and comfortable.

Our lovely stay in Salzburg was enhanced by our stay.

The art and architecture of the building was amazing.

The size of our room was small and warm. We did not mention the warmth to the management so it was not a problem just a comment.

Lovely hotel on the heart of Salzburg perfect for a long weekend away.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location couldnt be better.

A bit pricey but for the location was worth it.

I would highly recommend the hotel.

Right in the centre of everything, the Christmas Fayres, the shops, the restaurants, easy to walk to the various places of the history of Salzberg. Clean, excellent food and the staff were exceptionally helpful, thoughtful and efficient.
