It was a really beautifull place! Friendly and helpful staff! We really liked it here :) they make sure everything is okay! There are two pools and everything is clean. You almost cant find anything else like this for this cheap price. 10/10

An oasis of calm away close to Hikkaduwa

The place has a kind of Balinese villa vibe with two gorgeous pools surrounded by lush vegetation and a carefully tended garden. The rooms were comfortable. Its in a quiet location, but very close to the main part of Hikkaduwa. In factI wasnt a massive fan of Hikkaduwa itself, but this property more than made up for the town, in my opinion. The manager and staff were very helpful and gave us lots of great advice about transport options.

The rooms were a little dated and the sun loungers were breaking apart.

Such an amazing place, a hidden gem that can easily be called paradise :)) very peaceful, two pools, kind staff and very near the main street, shops etc. Absolutely recommended if you are in Hikkaduwa Thank you for making our stay great!

I spent three weeks in this wonderful hotel. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and received very warmly) The owners of the hotel and managers were very attentive to me. I chose a room overlooking the pool, I loved waking up and seeing this high pool with neatly planted palm trees and flower beds. The water in the pool is always warm and there are comfortable sunbeds so you can sunbathe or read a book in the shade. Or a favorite appeal has become a hammock in the garden. I could sit there for a few hours, read a book and watch the birds. It was also important for me that the air conditioner worked well in the room. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are shops and restaurants nearby, the beach, everywhere you can walk very close. Also, the bus is next to the stop and train station, if you decide on the direction of the trip.

The place is calm and quiet and away from the rush of the beach but and easy walk away. we really loved the pool and also how helpful the staff and the owner were. Anitha was very sweet and helpful throughout our stay and made sure we were looked after

beautiful place within walking distance of both bus and rail stations but without any noise from either. 2 swimming pools to choose from, both great. great staff, very helpful indeed. a very relaxing stay. will return again.

Dear fellow Sri Lankans, This is a must-see location.

I must remark that "ARCADIA RESORT" is a beautiful hidden gem in Hikkaduwa. One of the greatest resorts I've ever visited. Extremely friendly, spotless, and always greeted with a grin. The hotel is tastefully designed in a tropical minimalism and old school grandeur style. A short walk from local restaurants, bars, and lovely coffee shops. We only need to cross the road to get to Hikka town and the beach, which has very clean and clear water and is a great spot to rest and calm. While scuba diving in a prime location in the south west of Sri Lanka, you can enjoy the most tranquil evening at ARCADIA. Comfortable and big villa in a fantastic location, immaculately clean and well-equipped for a longer stay. Such a beautiful and calm setting. The brunch was amazing, and ARCADIA provided the greatest New Year's Sweetmeats. We had a lovely visit; it seemed like a home away from home; we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you Ms. Anitha, Dulaj (The Manager) and Ajith (Gardener & Caretaker) for all your time and effort, earlier check-in and all the tips you've shared with us. Excellent value for money, and the best nights sleep you could ask for. I will definitely be returning!
