Very good

Great, but could be better!!

Friendly staff, great food, great location.

For the amount of pools they have, there are very limited sun loungers, nearly all of which are grabbed by people either the night before of first thing in the morning, they leave down their personal belongings and then dont use them! I was there 5 nights and did not get to lay by the pool once!!! This process needs to change!

Stunning location but disappointing food and room

Stunning location. Friendly staff. Right next to the beach. Close to all the main tourist spots around hotel zone. Felt very safe inside.

As others have mentioned the food is really bland and the buffet does not have much taste. Restaurants on main road much better. Had noise from the generator every single night preventing us to sleep properly. We didn't even get two double beds as booked and had to call them up to send an extra bed rather than moving us to a different room. Messaged twice wanting to celebrate my friend's birthday and surprise with something but got no response of options.

Very poor

I was not happy with the entire stay, and I spent lot of money being unhappy. Food options were bad.

Not much except for the beach

Everything, no vegetarian options for food, room was terrible, painted halfway, curtains broken, was not happy with accommodations. Very unfriendly staff. Staff not helpful. Only catered to white people.

I wouldnt call this a luxury hotel. Definitely a lot of room for improvement!

The beach is really nice.

Sorry Sandos but your coffee is awful, no good tea selection either. Food is mediocre, food labels are very confusing-e.g. the label says vegetable soups but the actual soup has chicken swimming in it! Very often food labels were not representing the actual food, no allergens listed anywhere. The receptionist during check in and check out was rude and unfriendly.

Disappointing

Great location, bad food

The location is very nice and the beach is great and the internet at the hotel is good.

The hotel is old. The attendance by the staff is below average. The buffet restaurant is way too small and most of the time I needed to wait before being seated. At the 3 ala cart restaurants you have to make reservations and can not just show up. When you get there the restaurants are always half or more empty. The people that showed up with no reservation were send away. But the biggest problem of this hotel in my opinion is the food: I have tried all restaurants including room service and the food is pretty bad everywhere. Either the cook don't know how to cook or he has lost his passion a long time ago. If you cook the same 20 dishes every single day, one would expect that the cooks have figured out a way to make these dishes as good as possible. Unfortunately that is not the case. Mostly very blend, completely overcooked and not presented on a 5 star level. I give you an example: the Calamari at the St. Trope restaurant on the beach tasts old and fried so much it just tasts like chewy breading. The hotdog looked like it's been waiting to be served for a long time. The mussels in white wine were dry, no sauce and cooked so much that they were hard. On top of that, little things that bothered me at a five star hotel: no more towels at the pool at 5pm. Towels in the room - after the first day the cleaning person just puts a stack of towels in the room instead of hanging them where they belong. The curtains don't really make the room dark. Capsules for the coffee machine where only refilled after I requested them......

Superb

We are definitely coming back to the Sandos resorts, this time with whole family!!

The hotel was wonderful!! The location was great, as the view from the balcony included both the lagoon and the sea. The hotel has 3 gourmet restaurants, as well as a buffet restaurant, so foodies like us wanted for nothing. The beach itself was great, with white sand and warm turquoise water, and at a section where the beach wasn't very eroded, I had a lot of fun playing beach volleyball. The night entertainment was quite fun too, with Karaoke, and casino nights, as well as a masquerade party. Please keep in mind that this particular hotel is geared towards adults, as there aren't many activities for children.

The only gripe we had was with the TV. Since it's a smart TV, it constantly kept asking for permission to connect to a device. We tried turning off the feature, but it didn't work. Also, this is a suggestion, make sure you take enough to tip, as the ATM at the hotel only dispenses dollars, and is quite expensive. You can always ask the front desk to change your bills for smaller ones.

It was an expensive vacation and we overlooked attitude to focuus on enjoyment. We overall enjoyed, 3/5 star rating.

Pool area

staff not accommodating and always available for questions. Google reviews answered few instead. Room service doesnt always deliver, dont rely on that.

Very good

Amazing place for a wedding, great resort!

The pools and beach were beautiful, the rooms were spacious, everything was clean, and the staff was incredibly nice. Stayed here for a wedding and it was amazing.

Ive definitely been to resorts with better food. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing.
