    We were 2 families in the villa. The welcome was very pleasant and familial. We arrived late at night and the hosts took care of ordering the food we requested and did not agree that we would pay. We were very surprised and excited.. They saw that we were very tired and exhausted and tried to do everything to make us comfortable. Charming and kind people, the son, the father and the mother. The villa is beautiful and very clean. There is everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen. A large and modern TV, although there are a lot of stairs, but you get used to it. The view is most stunning. The house has a pool surrounded by lots of olive trees. We will come back again, for sure.

    There are 3 shower rooms and toilets but you have to pay attention not to take long showers as the heating is only from the sun. And don't throw paper in the toilet because it causes flooding. But we got along with everything. you can't be without a car because everything is far. the owners of the villa helped us in their private car with shopping during our stay.

    The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The villa is really amazing! AC was working and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.
    The wifi unfortunately was mostly working in the central areas of the apartment. Consider a car for moving around as the villa is located in the outskirts of Heraklion.

    Wonderful villa. The decorations were beautiful and the view was stunning. We had a perfect time here and really recommend it over nearby villas, which all looked rather impersonal and without that Cretan charm. Very friendly and helpful hosts as well! The place is also much bigger than it appears in the photos. So many thoughtful touches.

    The house is beautiful. But please keep in mind that you'll very likely need a car to get anywhere.
    The hosts were very kind and caring, they even brought us some fruit and eggs. The house is big and comfortable, the fireplace and the Christmas tree made it festive and cozy at the same time. The view is also marvellous.
    - It's hard to get to any town without a car - There was only one key to the front door - Once we saw a cockroach (not a local one though, I guess)

    Villa Ermis is an executive-style property in its own grounds in a suburb close to Heraklion. Although you can hear some distant traffic noise from the main road, it is not within your line of vision from the property and doesnt impair the privacy and seclusion of the location. The ground floor has a spacious, open-plan reception / dining / kitchen area, with an impressive first-floor gallery that leads to the bedrooms on the first and second floors. There is also an accessible bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The property is balanced, so that there is an excellent ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. For longer stays, the well-appointed laundry facilities in the basement are a boon. The grounds are maintained beautifully and peacocks and ducks were daily visitors to the pool and garden area. An olive grove sits to the side of the gated drive and there is a fully equipped built-in BBQ and pizza oven on the side terrace. A new restaurant has opened downhill from Promachon Villa, where we received a warm welcome, an excellent meal and live, traditional music. The Villa is well placed for access to the Heraklion region in general and the Knossos complex in particular.
