Great villa, lovely outside area good value for money.

The outside area including the pool was excellent with amazing views, friendly host who was attentive to our needs and welcomed us on our stay.

The main shower could have had more water pressure but given how remote the villa was this was expected so not a big issue.

The position of the villa was stunning. The views were amazing and the terrace areas outside were great to sit out and enjoy the views. It was very clean and comfortable and beautifully peaceful. The host responded really quickly to any questions and was very helpful. There is a fantastic restaurant nearby called Earino. This could be walking distance at some times of the year, but we preferred to drive as it was so hot! The food here was very good and the host really friendly. The nearby villages were a short drive away and had mini supermarkets, cafs and restaurants. Heraklion was about a half hour drive away.

Worth every minute

This is a beautiful place to stay. We found some great restaurants and met some amazing people. We did an olive oil tasting that was about 10 minutes away. We talked about how if we hadnt chosen this place to stay, we would have missed out on the beauty of the mountains and amazing restaurants. The owner is very nice and friendly and was willing to help with anything we needed. We have lots of memorable stories of our time here and this location made us fall in love with Crete and we will forever be grateful.

There is a gravel road the GPS tries to get you to take. Would not recommendjust wait until you get to the paved road. Lol. We hated to leave.

Relaxing in beautiful surroundings.

The Villa is in the most beautiful location with glorious views over the mountains. The terraces and pool area are wonderful. The outside space is on a lot of different levels so that needs to be borne in mind as you need to be happy to go up and down a lot. The host was really helpful and greeted us with a smile even though we were late due to a car break down and a dodgy google maps route that got us very lost! It's quite an isolated place but there's a small supermarket in the village plus a bakery and we found most things we needed there. We had a very relaxing stay, good value and a location that is top notch.

The beds are really hard which seems to be a common thing in rental villas. We would have liked some more kitchen equipment which the owner has said he will look into. No netflix or anything, which isn't an issue really but would have been nice in the evenings.

Absolutely love Crete and if you like a bit of peace and tranquillity, the villa is perfect. Definitely need a car, but

The villa was fab for two of us & the views are stunning & good to have a pool to cool down in.

The shower wasnt that good, possibly just needs the shower head changing.

Absolutely stunning views and private location.

Air conditioning would be a definite improvement and better water pressure in the shower but we had a fantastic holiday regardless.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Kastelas! Wonderful house & pool with an amazing view.

Wonderful house & pool with an amazing view!! Very quiet location. The large house was very clean and all we needed was there. The owner is also very nice & helpful. There is a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Airco would have been nice to have, but because of the wind it was still ok at night. The water pressure was a bit low for a good shower.
