Superb

The Abbey House Hotel is a stylish character property on the outskirts of Barrow. The staff are attentive and courteous at all times. When we returned to our room for our second night, we discovered it had inexplicably been converted from a double into a twin, which was most perplexing and quite annoying. However, not only did the hotel send someone up to put it all back, they also stood us complimentary cocktails and supper. It isn't so much the mistakes you should rate a place on, but on what they do to make things right.

Room was mistakenly converted to a twin from a double halfway through our stay, but the situation was remedied to our complete satisfaction.
