Amazing experience

The hotel is amazing: a guy is playing the piano at the reception, the swimming pool is wonderful, breakfast is great, the location is perfect, beds are comfy, everything is very clean

Mediocre Experience with huge lack of service and service quality

The Hotel is well located in Rosebank, the rooms are comfortable and the turn down service was good. Conveniently connected to Rosebank Mall.

The service at the property is not that of a 5 star Property. Upon arrival we went to the Fourth Floor Bar and Pool area to have some cocktails and enjoy the sunset. Staff absent and we were lurking around trying to find someone. Eventually we found some staff chatting at the Kitchen entrance. They were not impressed to be interrupted and we waited a further 30mins to be served our drinks. Next morning at breakfast, we have the same challenges with staff, unresponsive, and quite simply cold and avoid assisting. You have to get up and flag staff down to get some coffee. Also the ordered cooked breakfast below par for a 5 star, dry and tasteless. After breakfast we went to the pool area to swim and relax, again no staff in sight nor pool towels, we waited so long, I had to call reception from my cellphone to ask if anyone is interested in serving us. Unfortunately 54 Bath is a shadow of its former self . were I had fond memories of dining at the Fourth Floor Restaurant when I lived n Johannesburg a few years ago, sadly the service is absent and lacking and 5star touch long forgotten

Would stay here in a heartbeat. Will recommend it to others, too

Breakfast menu was great. Staff very accommodating. Lattes and wonderful espresso drinks available. So happy I stayed there. It was my bday and staff was very caring!

Room 1008 shower lacked hot water and was kind of mildewy
