Detailed Itinerary
- Morning - Arrive at Hospet. Meet the DSCOVR team and transfer to the hotel.
- Late Morning - Check-in and relax.
- Afternoon - Traditional North Karnataka lunch.
- 3:30 pm - Explore the Royal Enclosure, Queen's Bath, Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables with interpretive storytelling rather than monument hopping.
- 5:45 pm - Sunset at Hemakuta Hill overlooking Virupaksha Temple and Hampi's distinctive boulder landscape.
- 7:30 pm - Welcome dinner followed by "The Story of Vijayanagara", an orientation session introducing the empire, its landscape and the story behind the ruins.
- Overnight - Hospet
Meals Included: Welcome dinner.
- 6 am - Depart for Matanga Hill, or an alternate sunrise viewpoint depending on weather and guest fitness.
- 7:30 am - Local breakfast.
- 8:30 am - Guided Heritage Walk covering Virupaksha Temple, Hampi Bazaar and surrounding ruins, with stories of everyday life in the Vijayanagara Empire.
- 11 am - Coracle ride on the Tungabhadra River, subject to water levels and permissions.
- 1 pm - Lunch at a handpicked local café or restaurant.
- 3:30 pm - Visit Vittala Temple, the Stone Chariot and King's Balance, with a focus on architecture, engineering and photography.
- 5:45 pm - Exclusive DSCOVR Sunset Experience at a quieter boulder viewpoint, with refreshments and storytelling.
- 8 pm - Dinner. Optional night photography or stargazing, season dependent.
- Overnight - Hospet

- 8:30 am - Explore Anegundi village, its ancient lanes, local stories and riverside landscapes.

- 2 pm - Departure for Hospet Railway Station / Jindal Airport / onward journey.

- Do not climb, scratch, write on or otherwise damage heritage structures.
- Follow the instructions of the DSCOVR team and local authorities at all times.
- The Matanga Hill sunrise experience may be changed to an alternate viewpoint depending on weather and guest fitness.
- The Tungabhadra coracle experience is subject to water levels, local operating conditions and required permissions.
- Wear appropriate footwear for uneven and rocky terrain.
- Stay with the group during guided walks and offbeat explorations.
- Avoid carrying or using single-use plastic wherever possible.
- Respect local communities, religious spaces, customs and photography restrictions.
- Wildlife, weather, water conditions and other natural factors may require changes to the planned itinerary.
- Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the check-in date will attract zero cancellation fees.
- Cancellations made between 45 days to 30 days prior to the check-in date will attract a 25% cancellation fee of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made between 29 days to 15 days prior to the check-in date will attract a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking amount.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the check-in date.
