Checked into Rambler Stay

Shalaka Sreekesh says

We walked from the bus stand to the hostel (2.5 kms). Not recommended in the afternoon. This place is located just 5 minutes away from Gokarna Beach. We had lunch there. The service was fantastic and the owners even helped us in getting a Vespa rented and delivered right at the hostel. They also have DOGS!

Gokarna Beach for the Sunset

Time Spent: 2 hrs

Timings: 24-hours

Cost: No entry fee

Being the first stop in the Gokarna vacay, we picked something close to the hostel. We got ourselves a cup of tea from the many local shops on the beach and parked ourselves as we watched the beautiful sunset.

2.7 km away

Dinner at Namaste Cafe

Time Spent: 1 - 2 hrs

Timings: 1:00 PM - 10:00 AM

Although the drive to the cafe was long as we left from Gokarna Beach (8 kms away), it was worth it. The great ambience and the food was amazing.

Day 2: Lots of Beach Time

Breakfast at the hostel then Kudle Beach
4.3 /5

Time Spent: 1-2 hrs

Shalaka Sreekesh says

Beautiful beach strewn with cafes, this is, in my personal opinion, the best beach in Gokarna. Tip: Take a 2-wheeler to the beach as it is difficult to get there.

Back to Rambler for Lunch

Shalaka Sreekesh says

The food at Rambler Stay is pretty good and reasonable.

Souvenir Shopping at Car Street
3.0 /5

Time Spent: 3-4 hrs

Timings: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Shalaka Sreekesh says

More like a flea market, shopping here was rather fun with all the 'hippie' things you could buy. With great bargaining skills, you can get quite a steal on things like clothes, jewellery and more.

0.5 km away

Gokarna Beach for the Sunset. Again :)
4.3 /5

Time Spent: 2 hrs

Timings: 24-hours

Cost: No entry fee

Shalaka Sreekesh says

We watched the sunset and decided to explore a few more cafes along the coast. Since that would also get us closer to our hostel.

Visited the Cutest Cafe in Gokarna, Chez Christophe

Shalaka Sreekesh says

Run by a cute French family who decided to run this joint 10 years ago, the ambience and the service was impeccable. And also got the best views of the beach again :)

Dinner at Shiva Ganga Cafe

Shalaka Sreekesh says

It is the last cafe along the Gokarna beach coastline. The food was good and incredibly cheap. The ambience is alright with it leaning a bit more to the 'hippie' vibe. Note: They ONLY accept cash.

Day 3: Last 'Half' Day in Gokarna. One last beach run

Breakfast at Sunset Cafe
8.3 /10

₹ 350 onwards

Shalaka Sreekesh says

Cute cafe with white decor and the gorgeous views of the beach in the early hours. Good food. Better ambience.
