Trip2hills was an amazing experience for me and my parents. I went on a family trip taking the package of Darjeeling, Gangtok followed by Nathula Pass.
We are very much satisfied with the services a (Read More)nd facilities provided by Mr. Niraj Lama (owner of trip2hills), who was constantly in touch with us for all the amenities provided. The hotel stay was really luxurious and wonderful, we booked Udaan Group of Hotels and Spa (Udaan Dekling- Darjeeling- 2 days and Udaan Woodberry- Gangtok- 3 days). The food facility was really good in both the hotels. Ms. Kriti who was our initial customer representative was very humble in providing all the details pertaining to our booking.
The taxi services were comparatively good in Darjeeling than Gangtok as there was a last minute change in the driver which causes some time delays, etc. But, overall, all the services provided to us were really up to the level of our expectations and we would definitely recommend trip2hills to all our friends.
Even, we would also like to avail some more packages from them in near future.
Thank you trip2hills for making our family trip successful and ever long memorable.

• Trip to Gangtok, Lachung, Lachen, Pelling
Very much unsatisfied. Particularly Mr Neeraj way of talking and blaming me not answering calls of their assistant for payment. Honestly we didn't received any call & it happened twice. At one time I (Read More)told him to cancel my tour and I will bear the losses. You can understand the gravity. The hotel location was very poor. Very enterior. Even you can't walk around. The driver were not provided with program & conditions. All parking & entry fee were included. But I was forced to pay. Finally I will never suggest any one for trip2 hill.

It was a horrible experience.We booked our trip to Gangtok-Pelling-Darjeeling from Trip2Hills through Travel Triangle (Booking ID 10441281) . The overall experience of Gangtok & Pelling was so far so (Read More)good types....but experience at Darjeeling was horrible. Trip2Hills promised (in writing) a 3 star property, but booked our rooms in a hotel which was not even of a single star category.
The hotel rooms , were full of damp and even the beds were wet as sunshine never reached the room. The package was inclusive of complimentary breakfast and dinner.First day Poori and sabji in the name of complimentary breakfast was served .The Second day previous night's remaining roti was lightly fried and served...! Ha ha ha ha... unimaginable!
The entire happenings were informed to the management of Trip2Hills (Mr Neeraj Lama).The only thing he could do was to make an apology!!
How can an apology compensate the trip that got ruined ? He must have been fully aware about the hotel before booking it for our group!! During initial negotiation ,Mr Lama told us not to negotiate on cost as this would lead to reduction in his service level.We believed him and now realise that it was nothing more than his negotiation tool..!
Due to urge of some extra profit by Trip2Hills, our entire Trip got ruined..

We had a trip to Gangtok. It covered Changu lake & Nathu La Pass in the east & North Sikkim. Dhiraj Lama was our trip Advisor. Arrangements for stay & transportation were excellent. The drivers of the (Read More) vehicles provided to us were very nice. We had a very satisfying & hastle free trip.

It was my first trip to the North Eastern Region of India. We chose Sikkim, and Trip2Hills was the best the choice we made for touring the state. The entire tour was extremely well planned and execute (Read More)d with really traveller friendly properties, very friendly drivers and personal attention from Mr.Dhiraj Lama himself. And all of this was done at a very pocket friendly budget. Highly recommended.

We were a family of 6 with 4 senior citizens who had booked trip with trip2hills for Gangtok/Pelling/Darjeeling. I am writing this review with a thankful heart that we are back from the trip healthy a (Read More)nd the 3 stars that I am giving is just that Mr. Niraj Lama/Ms. Allie were able to get us back to our home safely.
Pros
1) They booked the hotels as per our choice and we went with them as they were able get us 3 rooms in our choice of hotels in Gangtok, Pelling 1st day and Darjeeling. Ms Allie was humble to talk to and answered all questions patiently.
2)Sikkim drivers that were assigned had amazing skills and though one was rude at first , he was actually the best driver and came around and had good conversation with us later.
3) We had an issue with mountain view rooms and a slope and 3 flights of stairs with Norbhu Ghang Resort in Pelling and although this could have been avoided, Allie did help us out and the hotel gave 2 rooms for my parents and in laws on the first floor on her request.
Cons:
1)Miscommunication is strong in team. The quotation we planned clearly stated we had Nathula pass for 3rd day post reaching Gangtok. I had specifically changed that as senior citizens need more time to acclimatize and we didn't want anyone getting sick at 14000ft. However, without informing us the Nathula pass permits were made the 2nd day. Similar miscommunication with driver information which caused delays in travel from Gangtok to Pelling and as confessed by Allie that she did not have driver information and that's why cudnt share it with us on time. The driver was waiting for us and we for the driver causing unnecessary delay. 1.5 hrs doesn't seem much on a vacation but we need to avoid driving in dark hilly roads specially with aged people with us.
2) We had added the toy train joy ride (optional), booked train tickets and shared information with Allie during quotation and got confirmation via chat that toy train has been included in itinerary. This would give the impression there would be arrangement for car from hotel to station. However, on reaching Darjeeling we got to know that no such arrangement was made and we need to do it ourselves.
3) The worst experience was with Mr. Umang driver in Darjeeling on the last day. We had plan to go to Mirik but due to health issues of parents decided to do Darjeeling day trip instead. I had called Niraj specifically and informed him of the unfortunate change in plan the evening before and he said that (I quote) since money has been already paid to driver we should utilize the day and the driver will take us to any tourist point in Darjeeling. Now everyone wanted to go to Botanical garden so i called Mr Niraj and asked him if that was possible. He then spoke with Mr. Umang driver and asked him to take us there. What happened next was that Mr. Umang then dropped us off at a junction before Nightingale park telling that you need to climb up and this is as far as the car would go. We did walk uphill for 15 mins and got to know that this isn't Botanical park and it's further 1 km away. When we called Umang and said you have dropped us at a wrong destination he took us next to a very narrow road not meant for a big car like Innova with slope similar to roller coaster. At end of the hilly slope he stuck the car in an alley and couldnt get the car back uphill, asked us to gey down and climb uphill again. It was then with repeated calls to Mr Niraj and help from locals post 2 hours of being stuck there that we were able to go up with help from local person. That's when Mr. Niraj changed his stance and started telling us that Botanical garden wasn't in your itinerary. What ires me is that he was sweet and accommodating and told us since we paid for Mirik we could do all Darjeeling day trip points and when Umang got us stuck he just changed.
Mr Niraj did yield to our request for changing driver for return trip and we are thankful for that.
