If you want to explore Srilanka, Elegance is definitely the best touring company to go with. Mr.Buddhika was a great help in chalk out & execute the whole 2-3 weeks visit. He has provided a car to go (Read More)around for 3 weeks & Mr.Kasun (the driver) was of great help. Both are very down to earth & very helpful.

Elegance was shortlisted based on the costs of the MY CUSTOMIZED TRIP IT (Read More)INERARY I uploaded on a travel portal - Travel Triangle.
Buddhika from Elegance was in touch with me over WhatsApp Calls/ emails and provided me a detailed information about the country and the precautions I needed to take during my visit.
The quotes were quite reasonable.
The driver, Merlyn, was well behaved. And spoke good English. He was to be with us for the entire 10-12 days with the car.
The car which was finalized on WhatsApp was a different one and the car that came to the airport to pick us up was a different one. Though it was a sedan and clean one, I didn't appreciate the change.
Buddhika was in touch over the phone for the trip duration. But, did not come to meet us - neither on arrival nor on departure.
The cab was perfectly fine for the first 9 days. The last two days in Colombo were pretty hot and the cab's AC couldn't deliver the required cooling, We kept rolling down the windows for most of the time.
The hotels selected were good. All of them. We stayed in 5 different hotels from regular ones to luxurious ones. All were perfect. Serendib in Bentota and Berjaya in Colombo had a very fantastic location, You have the pool and the sea in one view itself!!!
The only thing disappointing in the trip was :
1. Ella train ride. It was over crowded, I was standing in the coach for the complete journey. My wife and kid somehow managed to sit on the edge of a shared seat. Rather, we got down a station before Ella, as it was becoming suffocating and causing a lot of discomfort. The driver/ Buddhika could have booked the reserved coach in advance. If it was chargeable, we could have been told about it and I would have shelled out some more monies.
2. Drinking water bottles were not provided in the quantity agreed upon in the trip confirmation document. Rather last 2 days, I had to buy some bottles on my own.
3. Fruits were provided only when we chanced upon a fruit stall.
Overall, it was a good trip. Good country. Good people. Yes, do make you changes in the trip if you want to drop out from some destination and plan out something else, just like we did, in Mirissa.
