I am writing to you our impression of your services: Excellent. Everything went like clockwork.
We were the first into the Taj Mahal that morning, and were alone for ten minutes at sunrise before ot (Read More)her tourists arrived. Certainly the best sunrise ever! And we made it back to the ship on time.
I have only a few minor suggestions:
My wife felt that the local guide in Agra talked too rapidly for her to understand. I myself had no difficulty with him.
You may recall that the local contact, Mr. Kittu, in Mumbai did not answer the telephone when I called him, and so I had to phone you.
His agent did not have a placard with my name. Instead, after the phone conversation with you, the agent approached the group of about 25 ship passengers who were waiting at the port gate, and started asking for me by name. Then the trip got underway.
As you had predicted, it took an hour from the port to the Mumbai airport. However, on the return, it was 1 and 15 minutes. We got to the ship with 45 minutes to spare before “all aboard†time. You might consider allowing more than 1 hour for the taxi in future itineraries. In our case, we had few choices of flights that could make the tour possible, and so the schedule was unavoidably very tight.

We have just returned from a Vivid Colours of India tour of 4wks .Our trip included New Delhi, the state of Rajasthan ,Varanasi, Cochin Chennai and points in between
