Our experience with Rucksack Travel Agency was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We had booked a trip to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Delhi, expecting a well-organized and hassle-free journey. I (Read More)nstead, what we encountered was a complete lack of coordination, mismanagement, and unnecessary stress. From transportation to accommodation, everything was handled so poorly that it completely ruined our trip. The cab arrangements were chaotic beyond belief. We had to change cabs every single day, which was not only inconvenient but also a major disruption to our travel plans. There was no communication between the agency and the drivers, leaving us stranded and waiting for new cabs daily. The drivers were often clueless about our itinerary, leading to delays and confusion throughout the trip. The entire transport arrangement felt unplanned, causing unnecessary frustration. The hotel accommodations were no better. In Mussoorie, the hotel was decent, but the moment we reached Rishikesh, everything fell apart. The hotel was located in an area so remote that no proper vehicle could reach it. The narrow lane leading to it was only accessible by a cycle or a two-wheeler, making it extremely difficult for us to reach our stay with luggage. However, the worst experience came in Delhi, where we faced outright humiliation. Despite having paid the full amount in advance, Rucksack failed to make the hotel payment. The hotel staff stopped us from taking our bags and treated us as if we were at fault, making us feel embarrassed and helpless. The agency’s negligence in handling payments put us in an uncomfortable and distressing situation. To add to the frustration, despite paying for three people, we were only provided accommodation for two at every location. No extra bed, no blanket, nothing. We were forced to adjust in an uncomfortable setting when we had rightfully paid for proper accommodation. This blatant disregard for basic hospitality made the experience even worse. What was promised in our itinerary was never delivered. Important locations were missed, sightseeing was rushed, and it was evident that there was no proper planning behind the trip. Every day felt unpredictable and disorganized, leaving us feeling anxious instead of relaxed. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we spent most of our time dealing with the agency’s incompetence, making endless calls to fix problems that should never have arisen in the first place. Overall, Rucksack Travel Agency turned what should have been a memorable trip into an experience full of stress, humiliation, and disappointment. Their lack of professionalism, false promises, and complete mismanagement make them highly unreliable. This was not just a bad experience—it was a nightmare. If you are considering booking with them, think twice and save yourself from the mess we went through.

I had a highly disappointing experience with this travel agency due to their unprofessionalism, lack of coordination, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Gaurav and Vikas are cheaters, a (Read More)nd they just work to extort money from customers. Despite being provided with a detailed itinerary, they failed to adhere to it, leaving us frustrated and financially burdened. Further, I had explicitly informed them in advance that before my flight, I would need transportation for lunch. Their itinerary also stated that missed sightseeing locations would be covered. However, instead of arranging transportation as promised, they only booked a direct airport drop. The driver kept calling and insisting that he would take me directly to the airport while asking for itinerary details, which should have been provided to him by the agency, not me. The hotel provided in Rishikesh was on the outskirts instead of Tapovan, which was highly inconvenient. Moreover, no extra beds or blankets were provided, even though we specifically requested them. One of my friends fell sick with a fever in Mussoorie, and despite multiple requests, the hotel still refused to provide an extra blanket. Overall, this trip was a nightmare. The agency failed to meet its commitments, did not respond to our concerns properly, and provided terrible service while overcharging us. I strongly advise against booking with them unless you want to face unnecessary stress, frustration, and unexpected expenses. This agency has no regard for customer satisfaction, and I would never recommend them to anyone. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away!

A group of sixteen of my friends had booked a trip to Amritsar, Dalhousie and Dharamshala from 12th March to 19th March 2025 with Rucksack adventures. The package was meant for our stay in four star h (Read More)otels. On the 12th evening we were all shocked when we checked in to hotel Aura grand by level up, Queens road, Amritsar. It is deep inside a poorly illuminated lane off Queens road where even a Tempo traveller can't enter. Rooms are not made up everyday. One of the rooms bathroom had a hanging and swinging exhaust fan and the wash basin water was leaking all across the floor in another bathroom. The Grand view hotel, Dalhousie and the DPolo resort, Dharamshala were good. The sales executive Miss. Bhuvana and the tour operations in charge Mr. Nishant left the travel agency without informing us. But we were all very happy about Mr. Vikash who was extremely helpful in all critical situations. Unless this travel agency has dedicated employees like Mr. Vikash, they will have a tough time ahead in this competitive tourism industry.
