Day 1 Arrival in Paris

  • For this tour, take the train from Lucerne to Engelberg using a Swiss Pass. Duration: 40 minutes. We recommend leaving for the tour right after breakfast.
  • Right outside of Engelberg station, there is the Mt. Titlis tower. Show your barcode-enabled tickets, and they will guide you further.
  • Inclusions in the Mt. Titlis ticket:
    • Round trip travel via cable car from Engelberg to Mount Titlis in Central Switzerland.
    • A ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift across the Titlis glacier.
    • Entrance to the Glacier Park and Glacier Cave.

  • Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it features old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows, and glaciers, offer numerous hiking and skiing trails.
  • Lauterbrunnen is a municipality in the Swiss Alps. It encompasses the village of Lauterbrunnen, set in a valley featuring rocky cliffs and the roaring, 300-meter-high Staubbach Falls. Nearby, the glacial waters of Trümmelbach Falls gush through mountain crevices past viewing platforms. A cable car runs from Stechelberg village to Schilthorn mountain, providing views over the Bernese Alps.
  • Grindelwald, a village in Switzerland?s Bernese Alps, is a popular gateway to the Jungfrau Region, with skiing in winter and hiking in summer. It also serves as a base for mountain-climbing ascents up the iconic north face of Eiger Mountain. Gletscherschlucht, a glacial gorge just outside Grindelwald, features paths with interpretive signage, waterfalls, and striated limestone walls.
  • Travel from Lucerne to Venice via FlixBus.
  • Departure time: around 12:00 PM.
  • Total duration: 6 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Unlike the train journey, which takes the same duration but requires a train change, the FlixBus offers a direct service with no transfers.
  • The bus route is a sightseeing experience in itself, traveling from the Swiss Alps to the Italian Alps.

  • Please note that the schedule provided below is only for reference. The actual schedule of your trip will depend on the time slot you selected for your booking: 9:10 AM, 1:40 PM, or 2:10 PM.
  • Meet up with your guide at Riva degli Schiavoni at the corner of Calle degli Albanesi (near the Danieli Hotel).
  • 9:30 AM, 2:00 PM, or 2:30 PM: Depart for the Venetian Lagoon by motorboat.
  • Visit Murano Island and one of its glass factories.
  • Visit Burano Island and marvel at the colorful houses.
  • Visit Torcello Island and enter the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
  • 1:30 PM, 6:00 PM, or 6:30 PM: Return to Venice city proper; trip ends.

  • It serves as the capital of Italy and the Lazio region.
  • Rome is renowned for its ancient ruins, including the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

  • Approximately 3-4 hours prior to your flight time, a transfer will be arranged from the airport to the hotel. If your flight is in the evening, you can explore the area and return to the hotel for the transfer.
