Day 1 Kilimanjaro Airport and Canoeing at Lake Duluti

After arriving in Tanzania, the local driver guide will assist you with the immigration process. Then heading to Lake Duluti. Lake Duluti is a serene volcanic crater lake located about 14 km (30 minutes) from Arusha. The lake is surrounded by lush forest, offering a peaceful escape from the city with excellent opportunities for canoeing, birdwatching, and hiking.

After breakfast is the journey to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania's hidden gems, known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most stunning and underrated safari destinations. Located in the Manyara Region, about 120 km (75 miles) southwest of Arusha, it covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers (1,100 square miles), making it the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. The Park is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife that thrive along the Tarangire River. Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most stunning and underrated safari destinations. Today you will have a morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a scenic transfer to Serengeti National Park from Karatu. Early Morning, depart from Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater. Early breakfast at the lodge. Depart from Tarangire and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate. Descend 600 meters (2,000 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. Morning Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the crater floor, home to over 25,000 animals, including: Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Black Rhinos. Hippos in Gorigor Swamp. Flamingos & waterbirds at Lake Magadi. Cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests. Midday: Drive to Serengeti National Park. Exit Ngorongoro and start the drive to Serengeti National Park via the Naabi Hill Gate. Stop at Naabi Hill for lunch and registration. Enter Serengeti and enjoy an en-route game drive toward your lodge/camp.

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world, known for its vast plains, abundant wildlife, and the Great Migration. A game drive in Serengeti offers incredible opportunities to spot the Big Five, predators in action, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Depart for an early morning game drive (best time to see predators hunting). Afternoon: More Wildlife Viewing & Scenic Drives, resume the game drive, looking for more wildlife action. Evening: Sundowner & Return to Camp/Lodge
Central Serengeti, also known as Seronera, is one of the best wildlife hotspots in Serengeti National Park. It has abundant resident wildlife, making it an excellent area for game drives year-round. This region is particularly famous for its big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and large concentrations of herbivores.

Driving from Serengeti National Park to Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site, before continuing to Karatu for an overnight stay. Olduvai Gorge, one of the most significant paleoanthropological sites in the world. Visit the Olduvai Museum, which showcases early human fossils discovered in the area. Learn about the famous discoveries made by Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey, including early hominid remains dating back over 1.8 million years. Enjoy a short guided tour of the gorge, with breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Continue driving towards Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Your final day in Tanzania includes a scenic drive from Karatu to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), ensuring a smooth and comfortable transfer. Stop in Arusha for lunch at a local restaurant/lodge before continuing to JRO. Arrive at JRO, depending on your flight schedule.
