Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Dehradun – Uttarkashi - Harsil (216Km/08-09 hrs approx.)
  • Morning: Meet our driver at Dehradun Airport, Railway Station, or your pickup point.
  • Drive towards Harsil via Uttarkashi.
  • Harsil is known for its apple production, which, according to local stories, was introduced to the area by Frederick E. Wilson, a British settler.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • After refreshing, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Harsil.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel. The driver will pick you up from Harsil, and we will proceed to visit Gartang Valley and Nelong Valley.
  • Later, drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After refreshing, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
  • Nelong Valley: Nelong Valley is located 45 km away from the Indo-Tibetan border. It is considered one of the most thrilling mountaineering treks in India. At a height of 11,000 ft, the view from here is breathtaking, offering a clear and surreal perspective of the Tibetan Plateau.
  • Gartang Valley: Situated in the picturesque Nelong Valley near the Indo-China border, the 150-year-old Gartang Gali is a 136-meter-long wood-lined stairway. It is said to have been built by Peshawari Pathans, who created an architectural masterpiece by cutting the granite of a vertical rock face.
  • Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive towards Chopta via Ghanshali.
  • En route, see the beautiful Mandakini River at Tilwara.
  • The Mandakini River originates from Kedarnath.
  • Later, drive to the hotel.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • After refreshing, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Chopta.
  • Morning after breakfast, we will proceed to visit Tungnath Trek (4 km).
  • Tungnath is the world's highest Sri Shiva Temple and one of the Panch Kedar.
  • After reaching Tungnath Ji, we will continue to Chandrashila Trek (2 km from Tungnath Ji).
  • Chandrashila is also known as "Moon Rock."
  • You can see five popular peaks from Chopta: Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar, Chaukhamba, and other Himalayan peaks.
  • Later, we will drive back to the hotel.
  • After refreshing, we will have dinner and an overnight stay at Chopta.
  • Today morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive towards Dehradun.
  • On the route, visit Rudraprayag Sangam and Devprayag Sangam.
  • Later, drive to Dehradun for drop-off with sweet memories.

BOOKING POLICY:
  • Booking Amount (30 or more days before departure): 25% of package cost or Actual Liability.
  • 29 - 15 days before departure or before applying for the visa: 50% of package cost or Actual Liability.
  • 14 - 08 days before departure: 100% of package cost or Actual Liability.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
  • The infrastructure in these areas is not well developed. Do not expect or compare it with other developed destinations. There is often a shortage of water and power in this region, and water is supplied on a time basis  morning to evening.
  • Not all hotels in this region have generator facilities. In case of power failure, the hotel will provide candlelight.
PAYMENTS:
  • For all contracted services, a certain advance payment must be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis. The balance amount can be paid upon arrival in India (Uttarakhand) but must be settled before the commencement of services. Management reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount based on the nature of the service and the time left before the service begins. In some cases, such as journeys, hotels, or resorts booked during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.
OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS:
  • Please note that after finalizing the tour/service cost, any increase in entrance fees for monuments/museums, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India will be charged as extra.
LAW & JURISDICTION:
  • For all complaints, suits, claims, or disputes relating to any products offered by The Travel Planners, jurisdiction will be exclusively in the Court of Uttarakhand.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  • Rates mentioned in the package are valid for Indian nationals only unless specified otherwise in the quotation.
  • The quotation provided is without any confirmed reservations in airlines or hotels. Once the quotation is accepted and the advance amount is deposited (via IMPS/NEFT/AC Transfer/Cash deposit), the reservation will be processed. If we cannot secure confirmation, the deposited amount will be refunded.
  • Once the package is confirmed, full payment should be made either through online transaction or cash when all travel documents are delivered to the guest. For packages booked under our Airline Group Packages, airline tickets may be delivered 2 days before the group's departure.
  • Base category rooms will be booked at the hotels specified in the quotation upon confirmation. If rooms are not available in the selected hotel, similar accommodations will be booked based on availability, and any difference in cost will be payable by the guest.
  • Any date amendments in air tickets will be treated as cancellations, and new tickets will be issued at the applicable fare at the time of issuance. Cancellation charges will apply for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
  • If any modifications are made to the date or itinerary, the guest must inform us in writing, and revised confirmation will depend on the availability of the requested hotels. If the guest wishes to cancel their tour in this situation, the cancellation policy will apply.
  • No refund will be given for unused services in the tour package. Whether or not to take the service is at the discretion of the guest.
  • 100% payment must be made by the guest upon arrival before the commencement of travel.
  • Guests must carry valid proof of identity (passport for international travel) with a photograph, as it is required at the airport and during hotel check-in. PAN card is not a valid identity proof, so please do not carry it.
  • In case of non-availability of a hotel, a similar category hotel will be provided, and the operator is authorized to change the hotel if required.
  • Most hotels have check-in after 2 PM and check-out by 12 PM. The number of meals, including breakfast, is always commensurate with the number of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
  • The tour operator is authorized to change the route or itinerary if required.
  • Violation of company policy or misbehavior with any employee of the company will lead to cancellation of the package without any refund.
  • For early check-in and late check-outs, payments must be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
  • In case of international travel, rates may vary depending on availability, changes in the rate of exchange, or fluctuations in the international market.
  • Please read the email carefully and understand the contents and prices. All email conversations after booking will also form part of your contract with us.
  • Please take care of your belongings before leaving the car or hotel. The company is not responsible for any loss.
  • As directed by the Government of India, all Indian/foreign nationals are required to produce proper proof of identity at check-in. Valid identification documents include: passport and visa together, voter ID card, or current driver's license. All documents must include a photograph.
  • Non-submission of valid ID proof may lead to denial of stay in hotel/camp or any kind of accommodation. The company is not responsible for any issues related to ID proof.
  • For extra adults, many hotels provide an extra mattress instead of an extra bed. Kindly inform us in advance if you prefer only an extra bed instead of an extra mattress.
  • It is presumed that the tourist is medically fit to undertake the tour. If you have any allergies (especially food-related) or serious health issues, please inform us in advance.
  • Many small hotels/resorts do not have lifts, so kindly inform us in advance if you are not comfortable with stairs.
  • Generally, hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out time is 11:00 hrs across India. Confirmed early check-in or late check-out will incur additional charges if not included in the cost. Kindly contact the hotel directly if you want complimentary early check-in or late check-out.
  • Many hotels charge extra for room heaters or Wi-Fi. Normal packages do not include these, so any such charges should be paid at the hotels.
  • If meals are included in the package, they will be served on a set menu basis in a buffet menu/fixed meal credit. Any items not included in the ideal buffet/fixed menu will be charged extra at the time of consumption. Hotels decide the menu and options of items for the menu. Some hotels have a meal credit policy instead of a buffet or fixed menu during low occupancy. This meal credit amount is determined by hotel management. If bills exceed the given meal credit amount, the extra amount should be paid directly at the respective hotel. Room service for food or packing is charged extra at many hotels.
  • In case of vehicle breakdown due to technical reasons, we will try our best to arrange another vehicle as soon as possible for major problems. For minor issues that do not take much time, the vehicle will be repaired. Kindly cooperate.
  • We shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest, or any such incidents.
  • The driver will not drive in no-entry zones and should not be forced to drive on narrow streets or roads that may create traffic jams. The normal working hours for the driver are 12 hours. If you require services for more than 12 hours in a day, kindly inform us in advance.
  • In some hill areas, driving after sunset and playing music is not allowed due to safety concerns. Kindly cooperate.
  • Air conditioning will not work in all hill areas or in stopped/parked vehicles.
  • The pick-up and drop-off point will be one only (if multiple pickups and drops are required, please mention this in the email conversation before booking).
  • If you want multiple visits to a particular place, kindly mention this in advance, as some places have very high parking charges.
  • The tour destination/route cannot change without prior notice (amended routes and tour destination rates may change).
  • If your booked car is not available, we reserve the right to provide a similar car after discussion with the guest.
  • The rates are subject to change depending on fluctuations in diesel/petrol prices in India. If prices increase by more than 5% from the time of booking, we will adjust the rate accordingly, even if the rates were confirmed earlier.
  • At many tourist destinations/hill stations, some roads/market areas have "NO ENTRY" for all/some larger tourist vehicles, depending on the destination and time restrictions. In such cases, guests will need to manage alternative transport at an additional cost, which is not included in the ideal package.
  • Sometimes, the vehicle parking area is far from sightseeing spots. In that case, guests need to reach the parking area at their own cost.
  • The vehicle will be permitted to use for sightseeing points on the route and within city limits or as mentioned in the itinerary. For additional sightseeing, off-route sightseeing, or sightseeing not inside city limits, kindly contact the company. Refunds are not possible if any particular sightseeing point is not covered.
  • If you want some excursions, kindly inform the company in advance or discuss these matters with the company rather than the driver. All nearby sightseeing points should be covered together. However, if there are issues with a particular place, we can make adjustments.
  • No refunds for short stays or unutilized facilities.
  • No cancellation or refunds will be made if the situation is beyond our control, such as bad weather, landslides, climatic conditions, or any other natural disasters, fire, embargoes, acts or decisions of government, political or national crises, roadblocks, heavy snowfall, acts of terrorism, or similar causes, strikes, or problems with airlines, railways, buses, hotels, or transporters, labor unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, or any situation that prevents the customer from reaching the destination and is beyond our control.
  • The company is not responsible for any accident, injury, death, theft of person or property during the course of the tour.
  • The company expressly disclaims any implied warranties imposed by the laws of any jurisdiction or country other than India. The compnay considers itself subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dehradun, India.
  • By accepting this quotation, you acknowledge that you have read the complete package information and agree to the booking terms and conditions, payment policy, and cancellation policy. You accept the tour package and acknowledge that it fits within your budget and requirements.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • In the event of cancellation of tour or travel services for any reason, we must be notified in writing.
  • Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive written notice, as follows:
    • 60 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour/service cost.
    • 45 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost.
    • 15 days prior to arrival: 75% of the tour/service cost.
    • 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of the tour/service cost.
  • LESS THAN 72 HOURS OR NO SHOW: NO REFUND
  • For journeys and peak season hotel bookings, a separate cancellation policy applies (which can be provided upon request).
SOME CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL:
    • Refund for hotel payments will follow the hotel's cancellation policy.
    • Flight ticket cancellations will follow the airline's policy.
    • If you cancel the trip after commencement, refunds will be limited to what we can recover from the hoteliers or contractors we work with.
    • We do not bear responsibility for refunds on unused hotel accommodations, chartered transportation, or missed meals.

Hi, I am kishore Sarvaiye from Sambhaji Nagar Maharashtra. We are a group of 11 person would like to go to kedarnath and Badrinath Yatra. We are in search of good Traval Agent who can take us in saf (Read More)e way with comfort and satisfaction, since the total journy is by road and through the hilly area. After analysing lot of reviews of Traval agents on internet, we could picked up ABD Holidays of Haridwar. After completing the tour we felt so proud off to have selected ABD Holidays, because of there proper planning, execution and hospitality was unmatchable. Stay and food arranged and vehicle provided by them politeness and safety driving of the driver was excellent. And support, guidence, and hospitality provided by Nisha Mam was excellent, we felt personal touch in their communication. I personally thanks to Nisha ji for making our journy joyful and safe, since out of 11 person 9 are senior citizen. I would like to suggest to the travellers to go go for safe and joyful journey.

My advance payment for taxi booking has been refunded by Mr. Ashutosh of ABD holidays on 08/06/2019 the cancellation and refund was due to my father's death now the issue is resolved.
