Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Overnight Journey from New Delhi to Shimla

Your Shimla trip begins with an evening Volvo departure from Delhi from Kashmiri Gate overnight journey for Shimla.

 

Check in to your hotel, and freshen up. After breakfast, begin your local sightseeing tour of Shimla. Visit the Jakhoo Temple, perched on a hill offering panoramic views of the city, followed by the iconic Christ Church and The Ridge, a popular spot for photos and leisure walks. Spend time shopping at Mall Road and Lakkar Bazaar, explore Scandal Point, and pay a visit to the Kali Bari Temple. In the evening, you can relax at a café or enjoy a stroll through the lively town before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Shimla.

 

After breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Kufri and Chail, two of the most popular hill spots near Shimla. The drive to Kufri offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. In Kufri, you can visit the Himalayan Nature Park and enjoy adventure activities like horse riding and yak rides. Continue to Chail, famous for its serene landscapes, Chail Palace, Cricket Ground, and Kali Ka Tibba Temple. In the evening, drive back to Shimla and spend the night at your hotel.

 

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. You may use your free time to visit local markets or take one last stroll along The Ridge. In the evening, board your Volvo bus from Shimla for your return journey to Delhi. The overnight journey will bring you back to Delhi early the next morning, marking the end of a refreshing and scenic Shimla getaway.
