Udaipur, the City of Lakes, needs to be visited for its local shops, souvenir hunting, majestic architecture and serene lakes. The city is divided on the basis of three lakes ? Lake Pichhola, Fatehsa (Read More)gar Lake and Badi Lake, which gives it its epithet. The three lakes make up the major attractions alongside with the palaces. It is necessary to keep in mind that Udaipur, is a little expensive city such that entry tickers to palaces are also highly priced than Jaipur or other places; even boat tickets are on a higher scale but food is not that expensive at good restaurants. One can visit the major attractions in the city in a 2 days duration. As I stayed for 3 days, I absolutely had nothing to do on the third day. If well planned, one can definitely visit Mount Abu for a day as Udaipur is not that expansive to require more days.
