Day 1 Arrival in Katra
  • Arrive at Katra railway station.
  • Transfer to Katra.
  • Check-in at the hotel for 02 nights stay.
  • Overnight stay at Katra.
  • After breakfast, leave for Mata Vaishno Devi darshan by trek. evening return back to Hotel. Night stay at hotel.
  • The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated at a height of 5,300 ft., the site is located inside a cave on a hill. amidst the folds of the Trikuta Bhagwati hill at a height of 5,300 ft.
  • The last 13 km of the way have to be negotiated on foot by the yatris.
  • Once at the entrance to the cave, the path turns into a narrow tunnel with a cold stream named the Charan Ganga running through it.
  • The pilgrim has to wade through the narrow tunnel to reach the sanctum sanctorum.
  • The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas.
  • In the cave, there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati.
  • In the evening, after darshan return to the hotel in Katra.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast depart for Jammu.
  • If there is free time till the departure of flight/train then explore this beautiful capital Jammu of Jammu & Kashmir state.
  • Later transfer to Jammu airport/railway station for your onward journey with sweet memories.
