Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
- On arrival at the airport in Delhi, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Delhi to Haridwar to Rishikesh
- In the morning, take an AC Train for Haridwar at 06:55 am.
- Upon arrival at Haridwar, transfer to Rishikesh and check in to the hotel.
- The evening is free to do your own activities.
- Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Rishikesh to Joshimath
- After an early breakfast, drive to Joshimath via Devprayag.
- On the way, visit Devprayag where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet.
- Arrive at Joshimath by evening.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Joshimath to Govind Ghat to Ghangaria
- After an early breakfast, drive to Govindghat, starting point of the trek.
- From Govindghat there is a gradual ascent along a well-maintained pilgrim trail to Ghangaria.
- Upon arrival at Ghangaria, check in to the hotel.
- In the evening, explore the surroundings.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Ghangaria to Valley Of Flowers to Ghangaria
- After breakfast, trek to Valley of Flowers (3858 m) from Ghangaria.
- The valley is 10 km long, 2 km wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge.
- Enjoy the beauty of the valley.
- Trek back to Ghangaria.
- Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib to Ghangaria
- After breakfast trek to Hemkund Sahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb.
- Late in the afternoon, trek back to Ghangaria.
- Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Ghangaria to Govind Ghat to Srinagar
- After an early breakfast, trek down to Govind Ghat.
- From Govind Ghat drive to Srinagar via Joshimath, Chamoli & Rudraprayag.
- On arrival in Srinagar, check in to the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Srinagar to Haridwar to Delhi
- After breakfast, drive to Haridwar.
- En-route have lunch.
- From Haridwar catch the AC train for Delhi at 06:10 pm.
- Arrive at Delhi by 10:45 pm.
- Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 Departure
- In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey back home.
Package Policies
- AC train from Delhi to Haridwar & back.
- Transfer from Haridwar to Gangotri & back by private car or mini-coach or tempo traveller as per group size in non-ac.
- Accommodation in Delhi, Rishikesh, Joshimath, Ghangaria (camp/hotel) & Srinagar on a twin sharing basis with bed and breakfast.
- While on trek (Ghangaria) all meals will be provided. The food would be a mix of Indian, Chinese & continental.
- Mules/porters for carrying some amount of personal gear of the clients (one bag not weighing more than 13 kgs).
- A professional trekking guide would accompany the group from Delhi.
- Entry fee for the park

Things which were good.
1. View from manali hotel was amazing.
2. Natural beauty in jibhi stay was amazing. You will not even feel to go out.
3. Our trip man (Read More)ager used to ask everyday if we have any issue. This was very good.
I would say it was a perfect trip.
Few feedback for next time improvements so we can opt the same agent again.
1. Breakfast: Tea & breads can't be considered in breakfast. In jibhi stay, there were having 4 options for breakfast. 2 options were always unavailable otherwise we need hike for 100 meters to eat them. in rest 2 options, 1 was local dish Siddhu. My family couldn't like it much as they were eating it first time. And the last option was bread.
2. Meal options: In jibhi stay, there were limited option for meals. And it was difficult to know what is paid and what is included. We got to know about that at last day when we were leaving. At least milk for baby must be included in breakfast.
3. Tree house: bathroom floor slope was opposite side. no ventilation fan in bathroom. no window with net, and gaps in floor wooden planks. In result, insects in bed.
In Manali, everything was good. But we were expecting that as the weather is cold there and we cant hang towels in balcony to get dried they should have changed them every day. Same with bedding. It should be changed at least once in 2 days. We stayed for 4 days there.
Drive was experienced so we were pretty confident on his driving and less worried when he was fast. But for a AC car we were expecting that the AC should be on in sundar nagar like areas where car is not ascending on the mountains. However, he finally switched on AC in chandigarh that was a relief for us.
