Day 2 Vaishno Devi Darshan - Transfer to Srinagar
- Early morning, start your trek to the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple (approximately 12 km one way) or opt for a pony or palanquin (at your own expense).
- Seek blessings at the temple and return to Katra after the darshan.
- Check-out from your hotel in Katra and drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

The driver should take a more proactive role as a guide, e (Read More)specially for passengers coming from other states. This would be very helpful for outsiders who may not be familiar with the local language, routes, or customs.
