Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar
- Explore Srinagar, including Dal Lake and its beautiful gardens and floating market.
- Visit Shankaracharya Hill Temple and the Grand Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi.
- Enjoy the evening by Dal Lake in a houseboat.
- Have dinner and an overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 2 Srinagar/ Sonmarg – Kargil (203 KM)
- Wake up early and enjoy breakfast.
- Start your journey towards Kargil, passing through Sonamarg and Zoji La Pass.
- Cross Drass and visit the Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to war heroes.
- Arrive in Kargil by evening.
- Have dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 3 Kargil to Leh (211 km)
- Wake up early and begin the journey after breakfast.
- Travel through Khaltse, Lamayuru, Fotu La, and Nimmu, experiencing breathtaking landscapes.
- Cross Magnetic Hill and visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Hall of Fame.
- Arrive in Leh by evening.

Day 4 Leh local sightseeing

Day 5 Leh – Khardungla – Nubra Valley (120 KM)
- Start early after breakfast and journey to Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft.
- Continue towards Nubra Valley, enjoying the scenic beauty along the way.
- Visit the sand dunes, enjoy a Bactrian camel ride, and have a photoshoot at Diskit.
- Have dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley with a bonfire.
Day 6 Nubra Valley – Pangong Tso- Leh (220 KM)
- Enjoy breakfast in the middle of nowhere.
- Begin the journey towards Pangong Lake along the famous Silk Route.
- Experience the adventurous and less-traveled route to Pangong Lake.
- Arrive at Pangong Lake by afternoon.
- Return to Leh for dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7 Leh Sightseeing - Thiksey and Shey Palace
- Start the day with a visit to Druk Padma School.
- Explore Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and Hemis Monastery.

Day 8 Leh Departure

- Experienced driver with great knowledge of the area.
- Driver allowance, tolls, and other charges.
- All required permits.
- Lunch, personal expenses, tips, and beverages not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides or roadblocks.
- 5% GST (Tax).
- Personal expenses such as tips to drivers, entry fees to monuments/monasteries, camera/video camera charges, camel safari, river rafting, laundry, telephone bills, etc.
- Any food or beverages not included in the package, such as alcoholic drinks, mineral water, and meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect.
Reasons
1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp.
2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.
7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

Everything went smooth and was detailed. Communication was flawless. The experie (Read More)nce was seamless and well organised. Our guide Ben was fantastic and knowledgable so we feel we made a friend in Kenya too. James was superb in helping us plan the trip and with suggestions for stay. All in all it was such a special vacation and I can’t wait to explore more of Africa. People are great ! So warm and friendly and what a truly blessed country with so much nature and wildlife. I would highly recommend Wild Portraits and James and Ben for your travel to Kenya.
please be careful while entering the country at immigration - make sure your pas (Read More)sport is stamped. We had some issue with this. Can’t complain about anything else. It was beyond our expectations.

The responsiveness of Christine (person overall responsible for arrangements)and (Read More) knowledge from Evance (our driver and guide for national parks)about national parks was excellent.
We stayed and covered Nairobi, Masai, Naivasha and Daini.. All stays and safaris were perfect could not have asked for better.
We chose Van but we think land cruiser would have been a better option especiall (Read More)y for being comfortable in muddy terrains.

After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Na (Read More)ture Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the airport and the next day Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, early morning of the Safari start. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a memorable trip. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving. He was always on time.
Nothing in particular. Only one stay (at Naivasha) could have been closer to the (Read More) national park. It was nevertheless a good place but not great for bird photography
