Day 1 Arrive in Katunayake - Transfer to Kalutara
  • On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, Katunayake, you will be met and assisted by our airport staff.
  • Proceed to Kalutara.
  • On arrival in Kalutara, check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed to Pahiyangala.
  • Afterward, return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Kalutara.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Sinharaja Forest Reserve via Ratnapura.
  • On arrival in Sinharaja, check in to the hotel or camping site.
  • Overnight stay in Sinharaja.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
  • On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check in to the hotel.
  • In the evening, enjoy sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya.
  • Visit Victoria Garden, Golfing, Race Couse, Gregory's Lake, and Seetha temple.
  • Spend the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
  • In the early morning, proceed for an excursion to Horton Plains.

  • Afterward, continue the drive to Kandy.

  • Afterward, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kandy.
  • Visit the Temple of the Tooth.
  • Drive past the premises of the University of Peradeniya and visit the Market Place, and an Arts & Crafts Showroom.
  • Then drive along the Upper Lake road to get a panoramic view of Kandy Lake.

  • Late in the evening enjoy the Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre.
  • A visit to Gadaldeniya, Embekke, and Lankathilaka could be arranged on request.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Dambulla.
  • En-route visit a Spice Garden in Matale.
  • On arrival in Dambulla, visit the famous Golden Rock cave temple.

  • In the afternoon, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
  • See the famous frescoes of the “Heavenly maidens” of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10-foot high Mirror Wall.

It was a memorable trip to Sri Lanka and worth every minute spent there. FLYING DAYS really took care of every bit and pieces needed for the pleasant 9 days stay/travel/food there and their contribut (Read More)ion in taking care of guest is amazing.
